Ok I recently received NOA2 and was reading some of the post for the process for the Jamaican Embassy and read a post that said I would have to send DS-230 before we can get a interview date and wanted to know if that is correct, and can you please just tell me the process from here on out because I was under the impression that they would send us a interview date with all the forms/info that we need to bring to the interview.

I don't know anything about how they do it at the Jamaican Embassy, but if you post this same question in the regional forum (it will be the Latin American one), then you will get lots of answers really quickly!!

Most of the Embassys do send you out some sort of packet with the forms and info. However, ALL of the information you need is online...so why not go ahead and print out the forms, fill them out, and have then already READY and stamped to mail when they arrive! :)

angel,

they will cannot schedule an interview until they have the DS-230...once you know that the embassy has your petition, send the embass and e-mail requesting your SO to drop off the DS-230...do you have all the other things in place, birth certificate, shot records, police certificate, non-impiedment forms...others????????
