Well we went up to the Comcast place to try and add me onto my Husbands Comcast bill, we also want to add my name to the other utility bills like electric, oil etc;, but Comcast said they cant do that, and not many places will. A contradiction to what I was told when I spoke to a comcast agent on the phone.

Anyway who has added there wife/husband to there utility bills?, what did you do? we are mainly thinking if we get an interview our only proof of bonifide marriage would be photographs, joint bank account and credit card.

Some companies won't allow that but I am lucky i just did that this week. Water bills and electric bills they allow to add ur name in ur husband's name in the bill. All i did was just called the office and that's it.

My husband added my name to all of our utility bills: electric, water, directv, phone (att), etc. He did all of em by phone right after we got married. It was no hassle. They should be able to do that, there's no reason for em not to.
