He he he!

get all the shots in St Luke's. Mahal dito kapag dito ka nagpa-vaccine. Saka kasama na yun sa bayad mo sa St Luke's di ba?

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

Wala namang masama at walang mawawala if you will do it.

I don't know if it's really true or not kasi makikita din naman sa hitsura mo kung may sakit ka sa baga at ubo ka ng ubo at kung meron talagang sakit sa baga makikita talaga yun sa x-ray.Good luck to the OP!

Hi nervouswrech! March 31 din medical ko. magkasabay tayo!!!.. hehehe.. if you wanna meet me dun it's okay para di ka masyadong nerbyusin.

Yes guys! you could get an allergy by eating chicken all the time... but i dont think the embassy would care for just an allergy... What they're trying to check is if you have a communicable disease.

Nah... make a copy of the immunization record at St Lukes, after getting the shots. I should have had my wife do that too, but didnt think of it.

The 2nd day you get all your immunizations. My wife had to get them all, but they made them into coctails, several per shot. She only had like 3 or 4 shots. She didnt have any immunization records to bring with her either, since her parents died when she was 5 and no other family to assist her in finding out if she ever had them. She just got them all new that day.

you don't need to worry about your immunization record, you just have to show your scar when you had your chickenpox.

they will tell you what set of vaccines you will be getting. as simple as that.

be sure to really be patient during the whole process.

there are times when you have to wait more than an hour just for a single step.

have something to nibble and something to read, but be sure to be attentive as your name will be called during the process.

never ever go on monday... (as per my 6 day medical experience) too many people...

bring every document needed.

have a xerox of your passport.

you will be needing the details on it when you fill up the DS forms.

they will be keeping your passport after you're done with your medical.

and bunch of prayers

The medical exam takes two consecutive days. So be sure that you do not have schedule the following day. They will ask you to come back for vaccination. That is if the result are all good. Some takes 3 days because they needed additional tests/exam.

Also, only those who will undergo the med exam are allowed to go in the hospital (unless for minor/elders). Bring the letter that you got from the embassy or the letter of confirmation of your interview sched. They will ask for that. :)

Check out this site. This is a personal blog from her experience during the whole process of the K1. :)http://lydialuisa.blogspot.com/2009/03/us-...nformation.html

My K1 visa has already been approved. I had been really frustrated to find more info about K1 when we were still under the process. Some blogs have been useful. Now, that I completed the K1 process, I wish to share my own experience. So click on the link if you need more info about K1. The blog includes the requirements, med exams, questions on the interview, CFO and more. I hope that it will help. Thanks. Cheers and good luck.. :)
