Hello, my friends! I am planning to have my medical examination at St. Luke’s in a couple of weeks. Please offer me any advice that might facilitate the exam and may actually help me pass it. Something like specific do’s and don’t’s and your experience at St. Lukes might help. Also, please post any relevant matter that might not have been covered at the Embassy’s website. Thanks.

Don't go when having your period. Go after 12 noon on Tuesday thru Thursday. Sooner you do the medical the better.

Make copies of your passport as they wil take it. You won't get it back until after your interview. You may need copies to do CFO.

My fiancee is going for hers also in 2 weeks.shes going during the holy week.what date are you planning

to go?

So far I don't know the date as I still have to schedule my interview at the Embassy. When I called them earlier, I was advised that the approved petition is not with them yet.

My fiancee had her medical exam last week, and it went very smoothly. bring your vaccination records, the money for the fee of course, and show up early. She arrived at 4am and was done the first day at 4pm. The next day, when she went back for the vaccinations, she arrived at 10am and was done at noon.

How I wish I had a tip for you, but I don't. Actually, I should have seen that advice about drinking milk before the x-ray so I could probably have avoided the sputum test. Now I have to wait for 2 more weeks for the sputum test result.

My wife simply showed up early at 5AM, took all day the first day. Then again the 2nd day was long. But had no problem. Didnt do anything special. I did have her bring extra passport photos. Not sure if she needed them. She sailed through.

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
