This same message has been splitting the US environmental community for some time too. SUSPS is a splinter group of Sierra Club activists that do not believe the Sierra Club is agressive enough in addressing the rapid self induced US population increases primarily caused by mass US immigration (legal and illegal) and the huge impact these rapid population increases have on the US environment. The website below has not been updated to reflect that the US population has surpassed the 305 million mark in 2009 and continues to rise to a projected 420+ million by 2050 if there are no changes to present immigration policy. Obama wants to increase immigration.

Our political leaders are also cowards in this regard. As we approach 10% unemployment here in the USA the government still imports nearly 140,000 foreigners into our economy every month. At that rate all these jobs Obama is creating is for naught. Utterly ridiculous!

peejay, those were nativists with an ant-immigration agenda who infiltrated Sierra Club in attempt to disguise their views as environmentally motivated. I posted stuff on them awhile back along with Tom Tancredo - they have close ties and affiliations with racist groups. If you want, I'll dig it up again. I'm not sure why you keep refering to them....are you on some kind of mail list or a member of NumbersUSA?

Ho, hum. Let's see.

It's either unlimited immigration (legal and illegal) forever or you're a racist skinhead? Bullshit! All the other namecalling (nativist, racist, xenophobic, etc.)? I don't buy that bullshit either. Most Americans don't buy that bullshit given the stark facts.

The facts speak for themselves. In fact...the sheer numbers speak for themselves. You can try to slice it and you can try to dice it, but facts are facts.

The bomb dropping of the Tom Tancredo's and tracing back of funding, etc., etc., etc. don't erase the US Census or what Americans see every day in their lives. Your dawg don't hunt, Steven.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

No need to get defensive. I didn't call you a racist - I'm merely asking if you are a member of NumbersUSA. All I said was the facts - that Tom Tancredo and the anti-immigration movement has it roots with hate groups. There have even been memos leaked that showed how their strategy was to make their anti-immigration stance about things like overpopulation and environmental concerns.

No, you didn't, but...

The same type of innuendo cropped up with Ron Paul because he took money from a certain person and stuck to his guns and didn't give it back. Unlike the current crop of cowards that run for cover after the fact. Can you say AIG? There are plenty of other examples in politics and in life in general as a matter of fact.

No, I'm not pissed off at you. I'm just making a point and I ain't ducking for cover. ;)

I have. It has been alleged that he is the mastermind behind NumbersUSA, F.A.I.R., Center for Immigration Studies, etc.

Quite frankly I could give a sh*t less. All of these entities are mainstream organizations that have survived the light of day. All are quoted in the mainstream press and conduct lobbying activities on Capitol Hill. Politicians take campaign money from them. The mainstream press seeks them out whenever they need hard data. La-dee-da!

Whether Tanton is behind them or not is irrelavent to whether these organizations are telling the truth. Guilt by association? The ACLU and SPLC say they are hate groups. And the ACLU and SPLC are in bed with groups such as LaRaza, MALDEF, etc. Yeah, guilt by association.

And Pelosi and Obama have made innuendo to the point that ICE raids are terrorist. Gee....any surprises?

Any surprises there?
