hi everyone

my wife is filling an affidavit of support for me now

however she moved to the uk from the us to live with me in october last year

just until (fingers crossed) we finish my us visa application

since october we have been living on just my wage

so... her income is currently zero.

her parents are filling the i-1864a each alongside her

and we will be moving in with them so we can both find work on our return to the us

does anybody know if this will be sufficent?

her folks have listed all of their assets, savings, property and income

we have all the proof etc

any help would be great

thanks

Yep, like PP said, as long as the parents make enough money (or have enough assets which are easily liquidated), you'll be fine.

The other posters are right , but allso if you have no employment that can effect you getting a visa .(They want too see one of the spouses having employment ). And allso some Usembassy do not except co-sponsors , you should look into this to make sure , cause your time doesnt say where your finacee or spouse is from .

hi guys thanks for the replies :)

my wife is a us citizen, and she lives in the uk with me at the moment, i work and we live on my earnings

but since my job wont carry on if we leave for the states we are using her parents as sponsors etc

my wife also has employment when we return, and has an official statment to prove this

so im hoping all of this will suffice?
