Quick questions before it gets sent to me. If his income is enough to surpass the 125% he puts 0's in the rest of the financial questions right?

If we are only using his income we only need his employer statement and tax returns right?

If you meet the povery guidelines, then you do not need to include any other financial information.

You will also need a letter from the bank stating the date the account was opened, the amount of deposits for the last year, and the current balance. The balance does not matter, it's just a formality, so don't worry if there's not much money in the account.

You need whatever the consular officer wants to be assured that you are not likely to become a public charge after entering the USA. Without seeing the employer letter and tax returns, and any other documents that you might be submitting (an I-134 perhaps?) it's not possible to hazard a guess as to what the consular officer might think of the information. Even if you were to post copies of the documents so that we can see the same thing that the consular officer will see, no one can answer your question with certainty.

One thing that you might want to do is check your visa application packet and look for a document entitled something like 'Evidence That May Be Presented To Meet The Public Charge Provisions Of The Law', possibly also marked as DS-2000 or OF-167.

I was asking what others have done, not what the particular consular officer I see will want. There is obviously some standard most people bring with to interviews in order to have what is needed. This is what I was checking and I got the answers I needed. And yes we do have an OF167 as well, obviously I checked packet 3 when I got it.

Well we went through Vancouver a few weeks back and I didn't have a letter from my fiancee's bank ... My fiancee far exceeded the 125% of poverty thing ...

We had her 2005 tax return, A letter from her employer, a print of from her employer with all of the direct deposits they did into her bank over the last year and half (so pay stubs in essence) ...

The officer did ask if I had a letter from her bank and I said no and she said that it was fine ...
