we called NVC and they assign us an Interview date for 4th May. We were thinking that they will assign only on second week.

Everyone call NVC don't wait for Second week of April.

this is the time for you to act, call NVC (petitioner) and get your case no and send DS-3032 in email. They might be generated for your case.

First call them to see if your case is completed already or not. If so maybe you can try calling them back if you get the interview date. Like me, I call them everyday for the interview date but i am still waiting due to how busy the embassy is in Thailand.

I got an email yesterday saying that my husband's interview is scheduled for May 19th!!! We're excited and nervous all at the same time. I'm debating whether I should go to the interview since I'm visiting him now, but will be going back to the US on the 10th of april and if I were to take a flight to Dubai for the interview, it'd be a heck load of money! There's no way I can stay longer and go with him either. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Just goes to show that even though NVC says call back in April, they are in fact still booking. Good luck to everyone else still waiting.
