divorce papers for I-129F

hi ya

sorry i know this question had probably been asked thousands of times , but i have looked through this site so many times i start getting confused ..duh me

my question is can i scan my orignal divorce papers and e.mail them to my USC fiance for the I-129F petition or can i just get it photocopied and then send snail mail or does it have to be a notarized copy

any help would be good thanks

01/10/2004 - Meet on line

06/22/2004 - Visited Rudy for 3 months

09/09/2004 - Returned to New Zealand

04/18/2006 - 2nd visit to Rudy

05/18/2006 - Returned to New Zealand

06/26/2006 - Finally got to file for divorce

08/16/2006 - Finally recieved divorce papers

08/17/2006 - papers in mail to Rudy

08/24/2006 - Rudy recieved papers I sent

10/06/2006 - I -129f sent

10/10/2006 - Noa1 recieved- yay

01/10/2006 - Noa2 recieved - yippee (dancing around the room )

01/08/2007 - Consulate Received

02/08/2007 - Packet 3 received

02/15/2007 - Packet 3 sent back to consulate

02/18/2007 - Medical appointment

I think clarity is the key. What I did was to photo copy them for the application making sure the court stamp was clearly legible. I then went to the court house and got a court certified copy that I gave to my fiance for his interview. My originals are still safe with me...

Timeline

Photocopies or scanned copies are fine to send along with the I-129F. The originals will be needed for the interview, though.

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony
