K1 visa is one entrance to the USA with a direct flight. If you stop in an asian country as a stop over , you can do that in the airport but not leave the airport. Yes you can stop in the ASIAN COUNTRY but if you leave the airport, i.e, HK, then goodluck bailing you out and be prefer to fly back as you just used uyour one ENTRANCE!

Leaving the airport in another country has NOTHING to do with using the K1 visa. To leave the airport in another country, you need the appropriate visa for that country. The K1 one-time entrance is used at a U.S. POE only.

So an entrance into HK causes a US visa to be used? HUH?

To the OP... having a US visa does not restrict your foreign travel... If you decide to travel before entering the US, simply be aware of the normal entry requirements for THAT country....

YMMV

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Incorrect information.

A person with a K1 could take a tour of the world before entering the US (of course they'd probably need visas for some of the other countries) but sure, stop in HK.

If it is a connection, there should be no problem as your finacee is not going out of the airport anyway. I am taking PAL from Cebu to Narita, AA from Narita to Dallas, and AA for Dallas to Louisville.

Good luck and have a safe trip!!!

Most flights to USA stops at an asian country as a connecting flight...i think it is okay to stay for like 3 nights before entering usa as what i did when i travelled to usa using my tourist visa i stayed in korea for 2 nights but it would be a hassle coz she would be bringing in her 2 50lbs bags with her to the hotel where she would be staying..i wouldn't recommend it all. And if she is a Filipino she wouldn't need a visa for most asian countries if she would be staying for just a few nights.
