August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

I'd like to start the day with some VERY GOOD NEWS:

Govi got his visa!!!!!

He just called me about 45 minutes ago, said the interview was about 10 minutes and the CO was nice...

We're so excited!!!!

Hopin everyone has a good day. My ex has surgery today and my little one is there with his dad. My mom even took off work to go to the hospital. Hoping it goes well. He has had adverse reaction to general before so praying this time goes well.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

No, but they told him to come back on Thursday for the visa - won't buy our tickets until he has visa in hand just in case ;)

You know how crazy the consulates can be.

I'm so happy for you. Makes me think of when my baby has his interview and received his visa.

From his interview until we picked up his passport with the visa in it was nerve racking 2 days - just like yours.

From his interview until we picked up his passport with the visa in it was nerve racking 2 days - just like yours.

Once again congrats!!!!!!

They gave back all our original docs except the photos - wanted to look at those a little more.

Keeping my fingers crossed until I can post VISA IN HAND!!!!! :dance:

57 days and tomorrow I buy my cap, gown, and tassel! I'm going to the seamstress this morning to prepare two suits for the Borah Symposium then I need a hair cut, ect... and work on study abroad scholarships.

Exhusband out of surgery. it went well as far as they can tell from what the dr said. he is in recovery now.

I just had to share a true story of human kindness. One of the girls at work asked me before i left to go down the street and get her some soup and i said sure(no thats not it), anyhow this small resterant is owned by a arab man from i think Palestine. He has always been kind to me when i've gone in.

so i get there and before i could tell him why i was there he said sounds like you need soup cause i coughing so hard. I said i was there to pick it up but it was for another girl at work. As i continue to cough, he comes with another container of soup and gives it to me, saying i need this more than the other girl and he gave me a container full of soup! I was like WOW! Thank you, and he was like take care of yourself. I said Salem Alykum and he was responded back. Now thats kindness.

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
