Helo Vejers....!!

Who among you here got CENOMAR?

I just got my cenomar in NSO just this morning...Below the cenomar it states that i am requesting for this for "REFERENCE PURPOSES"...In relation to this, should I ask to NSO for the specific reason or purpose for getting my cenomar that state that my purpose for this is for the FIANCEE VISA APPLICATION (to be specific)...?or is it okay that the NSO gave to me will not be corrected?...Is it matter to CO about this thing just "REFERENCE PURPOSES"?

Please do help just a little bit confused...

Any opinions and ideas are highly appreciated...

I think they always say that.. As long as it's a CENOMAR and it has the information that the USEM needs, it's already fine.. you dont really have to be SO! specific about your reasons why you need it. My CENMAR used that 'REFERENCE PURPOSES' also...

Maybe other members will have other opinion about it.. ;)

09-06-2007 - Sent the I-130

01-02-2008 - Recieved NOA1

05-01-2008 - NOA2 approved!

05-09-2008 - Recieved hard copy of NOA2

05-16-2008 - Recieved the AOS Fee Bill with Manila Case number

05-18-2008 - Sent Choice of Agent via email

07-29-2008 - Recieved IV bill from the mail

09-10-2008 - Paid the I864 bill and IV bill

09-16-2008 - NVC mailed the Instruction packet agent to my hubby

09-28-2008 - Received hard copy of the instruction packet agent

09-29-2008 - Received the I864 packet

03-02-2009 - Hubby sent the I864 and DS230 to NVC

03-06-2009 - NVC received I-864, under review

03-10-2009 - NVC received DS230, under review

03-13-2009 - I-864 complete, still reviewing the DS230

03-19-2009 - Under NVC final review, the operator told me that i need to redo my DS230

03-23-2009 - CASE COMPLETE!!!

03-25-2009 - GOT A MAY 7 INTERVIEW!!!

03-26-2009 - received appointment letter from NVC through email

03-31-2009 - 1st day Medical

04-01-2009 - 2nd day Medical. PASSED!

04-02-2009 - NVC sent docs to USEM

05-07-2009 - USEM Interview.. VISA APPROVED!!!

05-12-2009 - Finally got my VISA!!!

05-27-2009 - Flight to OK

The Cenomar or certificate of no marriage and the Cenmar certificate of marriage are the same thing. As long as they list the marriages or lack of marriage that is all the Embassy is concerned about, as to that it states for reference is not a problem.

I think there really should be no problem. All they want to see is you are free and legally able to marry. :) Good luck! The thing is NSO should have stated for VISA APPLICATION as what I have on mine. Rest your mind. :)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview
