Hi all,

This may be a simple question but I am gonna ask anyway. The new processing times were posted March 17 but when clicked it states: Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: January 31, 2009. My question is why is there such a long gap between the 2 dates. Thanks

Hi all,

This may be a simple question but I am gonna ask anyway. The new processing times were posted March 17 but when clicked it states: Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: January 31, 2009. My question is why is there such a long gap between the 2 dates. Thanks

Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: January 31, 2009 , means that was the last date the processing dates was updated, frustrating, isn't it. For that date, I-751 applications prior to April 20, 2008 should have been processed.

This takes me back exactly a year ago when we were in the same boat, where Nebraska shifted it's I-751 processing date back to July 06, 2006 instead of omitting it when all the I-751 applications were moved to California without telling anyone. But yet any inquiries were based on the Nebraska very erroneous date. Was told by the USCIS, they couldn't do anything until that date exceeded our application date.

On this board, was speculated that whoever updates these dates must have called Nebraska and for that day, an earlier application that was forgotten was being processed. Not true, this led me to call my senator to find these dates are a bad joke, our case was moved to California, and according to their dates, our application was already five months prior to their dates, but was misplaced, so something good be done about it.

Whoever is updating this site, hasn't done anything since January 31, 2009, USCIS should dump this site, but since it is there, they go by these dates, crazy.

They do it to cover their tails too - they can update the site but still put a previous "as of" date so that they won't get a million calls from those who are just on the borderline. I just wish they would speed up all around!

First of all, congratulations!

Second, I just wanna check if I understood well, and I will apply it on my case.

1) service center processing date for TSC as of: January 31st, 2009

2) I90 - innitial issue or replacement of GC - September 27th, 2008

3) site updated March 16th

So, on January 31st, 2009, applications before September 27th, 2008 should have been processed, right? Since it is March now...can we suppose :innocent: that November applications should have been processed by now? Then, theoretically, their update date does not even matter, since it is the second date in bold letters that really counts?
