Don't know if anyone else has had this experience. I received notification of our approved application being forwarded to NVC from Vermont on 2/5. In the letter it recommended checking the Embassy web site in Bogota for the latest intructions. When we checked the Web site they recommended downloading the packet insead of waiting for notice of receipt and the packet being sent by mail because of unreliable mail service. We down loaded the documents suggested and have completed the ds 2100 and the ds 230 which they ask you to send 1st. When we called the Embassy to verify they had recieved our case, they had no record. So we did not send the forms because we don't know what they would do with them without a case file. I called NVC and they just sent the file 3/20. 1 Month and 5 days!! it took. They also will not give you a tracking number " because it is a government document". Thought you should know. :wacko
