I am using my dad 2008 income tax for i-864 because mine is not enough. so i called nvc yesterday and they told me i will need to have my father filed the i-864a.. now what documents will he needs to send with this for? does it needs to be notarized?

no, but he needs to sign it. send along his recent ITR, paystub & W2.

I used our copy from H&R Block and had no problems with it.Still waiting for case completion here

My login failed this morning checked few minutes ago and i checked the AVR but it did not change the message from "checklist letter response received on 29-Oct-2009". When will AVR change?

Will i get email from NVC that the case is completed?

Congratulation Raj, so finally positive sign... gr8.

Once Case completed and they send the document to local consulate, will we get physical interview letter in India or just an email from NVC?

Thanks smithjohnatpa. Once the case is complete all the documents are mailed to Consulate. Based on other posts here they will send email interview letter to both petitioner and beneficiaries ( no hard copies as we opted to do via email right....all correspondence is via email only..which is faster..) They can print the interview letter from the email and can use it when they go to attend Interview and also they need to use the interview letter to get Medicals done.

Ohh so we need to do everything by email then.. its valid right in India? for interview and Medicals. give me feedback once your medical and interview done. Good luck for further process.

My Login Failed this morning and just now called NVC and talked to an Operator and she said that it is in "FINAL REVEIW PROCESS" and told me call back by end of this back to check the status. Anyone had similar experience after the login is failed.....

question. on the tax for it says income 50,678.00 and adjustment gross income 48,345.00 which do i put on the line that says my annual income and which one i put on the tax most recent income?

also will 48,345.00 be enough for household of 8(that include the intending immigrant)?

It seems like my daughters IV PACKAGE (DS-230) has been delivered to the NVC(according to UPS tracking info) so now I will wait til tomorrow to confirm it with NVC

The 2009 Poverty Guidelines for the 48 Contiguous States and the District of Columbia for 8 people is $37,010 ( For families with more than 8 persons, add $3,740 for each additional person. )

2009 Poverty Guidelines for Alaska for 8 people is $46,290 (For families with more than 8 persons, add $4,680 for each additional person.)

2009 Poverty Guidelines for Hawaii for 8 people is $42,560 ( For families with more than 8 persons, add $4,300 for each additional person.)

You need to Put Income as $50,678.00 not AGI

They will not be able to confirm it unless it is entered into the system which takes few days to get into the system. Check timelines on other members signatures to get an idea...my DS-230 was received by NVC on 10/26 and on 10/29 it is entered into the system....hope this helps..
