Hi all,

Mooninlove, I'm about to be in similar situation as you, getting missing Doc (my original Birth Certificate, etc...) from NVC as the AVR told me this morning.

The worst part was I submitted these Original Docs to USCIS per the RFE and they told me they transfered everythihg to NVC after the case was approved. But now NVC said I need to send those in. Talking to an supervisor named Sue and she said she would ask someone to take a look into the file to see if they could find them in there. Hope they are there but if not, there will be big problem thanks to USCIS and NVC.

You sent ORIGINALS to USCIS? I don't think they need that, just the copies unless told otherwise. Originals are sent to NVC (DS230 requirements). When I got my RFE from USCIS, I only sent copies and photos as required from me.I just sent to NVC today the originals of my parent's BC & their MC and my mom's DS230 part1. I sent along their Police Certificate & NBI Clearance as well. Best of luck to you..You better get a certified copy of your BC just in case. As they've stated on my RFE, they won't schedule any interview until they received all documents on the checklist. Goodluck

My parents got Police Clearance Certificate from Hyderabad Passport Office and i submitted them along with DS-230. They will also stamp on passport. My parents filed application form, fees, photos and original passport at regional passport office and within a week they received the Police Clearance Certificate along with stamped Passport. Hope this helps....

I just got email stating "All Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the local Passport office"

I did send the police clearance certificate issued by mom-dad's local police station but i guess that wasnt enough - has anyone else encountered this problem? Will passport offices in India know when my parents go to get police certificate from a passport office what they're looking for? please advise if anyone has experience. thx.

just got a email from NVC with a pdf attachment. There is a choice of address and agent on the last page. i tried to fill it in on the computer, it wouldn't let me, so should i send it to my parents and let them print it out, and fill it out, and sign it, and send it to NVC? or is it just good enough to send a DS-3032 Email Template. but i just don't know if NVC is going to accept it since there won't be signture on email template.

also there is a aos processing fee bill invoice. can i pay it now? how?

i read alot when i was waiting for the NVC email, i thought i understand everything, but once it came, still not sure what to do.

Cool - you got the DS-3032 kit in the email. I made reference to this , to you, earlier.

What do you want to do ? PAPER processing, or Electronic Processing?

You have casefiles that will go to GUZ, so you can OPT IN for Electronic Processing at GUZ.

Whilst it doesn't speed up anything at GUZ, it DOES SPEED UP the interview appointment setting time.

FWIW, you can still opt in TODAY AND make electronic payments online (without waiting for casefile conversion ).

The DS-3032 that you got is not the right one for opting in for Electronic Processing - please read my wiki page for the proper DS-3032 location.

Thank you so much for the info. however i think i am going to use the PAPER processing since my parents have no harry to come( they have to take care of somethings in China). i already told my dad how to fill it out DS3032, and they are going to send me a pdf with their signture, and mail the paper ds3032 to NVC.

i only got my mom's ds3032 so far, not my dad's yet. hoping can get my dad's tomorrow.

about the AOS bill, should i wait until i got my dad's ds3032?

I sent all of my parents' paperwork in one envelop. I believe the NVC processes parent cases together.

O ok then thats great! easyer for china babe i emailed my DS-3032 i hope they get it soon. and i payed my (AOS) put waiting for it to show as PAID so i can print it out. also how long till they mail me or email me the copy of the I-864 Package?

I want to get it ready but i want there copy. if i use the copy they send me i dont have to print and glue a barcode cuz its already on there right?
