Yesterday evening i called NVC and talked to an Operator about my parents case to check the status and the Operator said the same thing that was on AVR. AVR says "NVC has received the checklist response on 29-Oct-09"

She is asking me what was the last documents i sent ( doesnt she know looking at the system )..i told her that i sent DS-230 documents.......

Keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for the news....

I sent I-130 for my mom to Chicago on 11/4. I will now start working on getting the paperwork together. I'm sure I'll have many questions down the road, so you'll see more of me here.

updating my parents' case

I just called uvc, got my dad's uvc #. and update the email address. they said it could take 4 to 6 weeks before i got an email from them. is that usual?

NVC will not send anything by snail mail, it will all be done by email and both you and your parents will get the emails. All NVC emails are in English.

Yes go ahead and print out the forms you are going to need. The Ds-230 has to be signed by your parents so you need to get that done. If you wait for NVC to email you the link for the forms and then you need to mail them to your parents and wait for the forms to come back you are going to waste time. Get it done now and you will be ready to mail each packet as you get the mails.

Police report

copy of her passport

two photos(passport photo)

birthcertificate(i have that already)

marriage(she never been marry)

am i correct on what i need?

also the "choice of agent" form. where would i find that to print and send to her as well?

so i'm just going to send what she needs to sign and then get them ready for whenever NVC snail mail me.

Set up your mom with a gmail account then you check it for mail. that is what I did for my parents as the had sold their home and did not have email access any more.

I had no issues doing it that way.

Oh i can do that? i thought about it but i say no because they would suspect something and that would be illegal. anyway so you were in charge of their account and kept them posted of when to go for appointment and such?

I have several questions. Please bear with me.

About DS-3032. Is sending it via email reliable? Are there cases where an email filing of DS-3032 was not successful and you had to send it regular mail?

I-864. I read somewhere pay stubs from the past 6 months. Is that really necessary? Or it's just a way to avoid further requests for evidence?

Do I, at any point, need to submit my original birth/marriage certificate to show relationship to my mom?

Hello everyone im new here and had a couple of questions

First of all i just got my DS-3032 in the mail yesterday and i was wondering can i fill everything out and fax it to my husband let him sign it and then fax it back to me so i can sent it to NVC cuz mail in his country is very slow and always gets lost.

I Asked NVC yesterday and they said "he has to send it" but i dont trust them every time i call them they have a new answer. soo annoying.

I was planning to E-mail the ds-3032 but i hear its takes forever for NVC to approve the E-mails.

If i was to email i just use the template from the "Shortcuts" thread? i dont have to attach a signatue?

I realy would rather send it by mail and E-mail.

And also can i pay the AOS now?
