thanks, moninlove. i had got the same email like the begining of last week. i am just wordering if they are working on the case, by that i meant i should get the approval soon. how long did you get your approval after they received the RFE?

I just checked usics website, it says "On October 13, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence......." however, i haven't hear anything from them yet. does anybody know how long does it take uscis to process the RFE?

Mine was 5 days. they sent me an email that they've received the RFE and that they continue processing my mom's case.. I am still awaiting for the DS230 review until now..

5 days upon their receipt but it depends on each cases. Mine was for my mom's first name slightly different from my BC. It was touched once and received the email approval on the 5th day.

Thanks :-) No emails about case complete yet. first my payment website log in failed at 10 pm on Oct 20,

then i called 4 times yesterday - Oct 21 - at 9 am, 3 pm, 6 pm - same old message, and at 10 pm - it was "Case complete Oct 21".

I guess they email only when interview is scheduled, which happens (according to ptrober's experience) about 4 business days after case complete.

also my experience confirms that both website and AVR update around 10 pm, as to e-mails they tend to come around 9 am- 3 pm

I have sent email for DS3032 on 10/12 and then I got email for AOS and I paid it and also sent I 864 which delivered this Monday(10/19). but nothing since from NVC about DS3032 acceptance. I also sent scanned copy and email printout as well.which is delivered on last friday 10/16. and AVS is saying they got AOS bill fees on 10/16. Should I wait for DS3032 acceptance email or speak with operator about it.

any suggestions?

I have a question on DS-230 ( Signature of the Applicant box ).

My parents signed and sent the DS-230 forms but instead of signing on the box provided for the signature on page 2 they did right above where it says "signature of the applicant". Do you guys think that will pose a problem? I should have told them to sign on the box and in India they are used to sign right above "signature".

I paid the IV fee bill on 10/20/09 and the amount is withdrawn from my bank today and expecting the status to change sometime today or tomorrow and i am ready with the sets to be mailed to NVC.

Please let me know.

I called NVC and talked to an operator about the signature and she said that she knows about this issue and said that shouldnt be a issue. But you never know..it all depends upon the person reveiwing the file. I will ask my parents to sign and send it to me again..just in case if NVC comes back and asks me about the signatures....

Once DS3032 is accepted they will send you an IV Fee Bill Email. On mine AVR said DS3032 is received on 10/16/09 and on 10/19/09 IV Fee Bill was enabled online and got an email 10/20/09 at 7:20 PM CST about IV Fee Bill.

You can call and talk to the operator to get more information.

case has been completed. They just need to bring a copy of the NOA 2 and

their case number.

Not sure about that. I have been told that you cannot process the medical until the case is completed AND an interview date has been assigned.

I may be wrong, but that was the information I was given.

Honestly Tay the stuff that the US Embassy churn out is so wrong. That is the third piece of bad information I have had from London.

I will call the medical people later.

Oh our case complete of the 16th Oct has suddenly turned into the 21st Oct...!

Apparently some documents I sent weeks ago by DHL just arrived and was entered on the system.

The agent assured me that is should not make much difference to the issuing of an interview date. We shall see.

It's like they are messing with my head!

Raj, I heard NVC AVS that they received I864 on Oct 22nd? does that mean that entered in NVC system? or just received it.?
