whats a standard process - to update AVR with message saying we sent you notice of missing documents?

it's called False RFE - it happens a lot especially in the end, I got one for 3032 a day after they accepted it, so untill you get a specific letter - usually in the email saying that a specific document is missing (like tax return on birth certificate) - it's probably false.

You will get an email either today or tomorrow about the same subject, and it will show that your DS-230 is missing.

I just checked usics website, it says "On October 13, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence......." however, i haven't hear anything from them yet. does anybody know how long does it take uscis to process the RFE?

Mine was 5 days. they sent me an email that they've received the RFE and that they continue processing my mom's case.. I am still awaiting for the DS230 review until now..

Guys, I also paid DS-230 fee. Do I have to wait for cover sheet with the bar-code now? Or there is no cover sheet and I can send my DS-230 package right away?

Hi,

Yes you need to wait for the coversheet to become available to print. you need to include that in your DS-230 package.

Yes. You have to wait a couple day to get a cover sheet same like AOS fee bill. After that you can send out your DS-230. Good Luck

^^^ Yes, wait for the payment status to change to PAID and then print cover sheet - you will need to include it with the DS-230

1) IV Bill showed PAID, printed out Cover Sheet, but when click on "Go to Application Processing Instruction", it showed a dead end, is this normal? Should it show where/how to get/download DS-230 form?

2) When mailing in DS-230 package, are only documents related to the Beneficiaries are required with DS-230 application? is Petitioner's document also required to be sent along with, again (we sent these during the I-130 process, right)?

1. I just downloaded DS-230 from NVC website.

2. Yes, you have to include petitioner's original birth-certificate along with original marriage certificate (if any) into DS-230 package.

Here is the list..

Again once it shows as paid you will print out another barcode coversheet to include with the DS-230 for each parent. You will need to include Originals of the following documents for each parent and also Copies of each Original.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES

ADOPTION PAPERS

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

MARRIAGE TERMINATION (DIVORCE)

COURT RECORDS

MILITARY RECORDS

POLICE CERTIFICATE

2 PHOTOGRAPHS

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FOR ALL MARRIAGES

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE

Original Document Requirements

The applicant and each family member who will accompany the applicant to the United States will need to submit original documents or certified copies of the documents listed in this section from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity).

Photocopy Requirements

In addition to sending the original documents or certified copies of the documents to the NVC, the applicant and each accompanying family member must submit a photocopy of the original documents or certified copies of the documents.

What you need to do is, you send one complete set of original documents with the Barcode coversheet of one parent and then for the other parent you have to attach to their Barcode Copversheet a photocopy of the original document and write on it "Original Held In Case # LND2009****** " You must do that for every document that is not the original.
