Hi Tay,

When sending in I-864 for my Mom and Dad, I separated them into 2 sets, e.g. each has their own I-864 and I-864A and supporting documents, and sent both sets in a single package to NVC. Was this the better way since you said each should have their own I-864 set?

Now come the dilemma for DS-230 package, should I do the same thing, separating them into 2 sets (which set should I put the Marriage Certificate and Household Registry in?) or combine them into one single set since they both share the Marriage Certificate and Household Registry?

Please advise. Thanks.

i got the AOS fee and DS3032 emails - emailed DS3032 info per template on this site and paid AOS fee online - got email acknowledgements for both DS3032s right away - does that typically mean they got it? or i need to call them and confirm?

Have a question about the police certificate? My understanding is the beneficiary will get the police certificate of all places have lived for atleast 6 months including places in your country of nationality right? To the petitioners from the Philippines...Does NBI enough and just get the police certificate of the present residence? My Mother never travelled outside the country but beendifferent cities and provinces in the Philippines. The bad thing she don't even remember the month and year. Whoever got any idea please share...I really appreciated your help!

I asked my parents to send me NBI and the Police certificate just in case,whichever they need, at least it's there. And the email for DS3032, they asked me about my parents email add but I told them they have access to my email so I am using my email address which the operator said is ok. After sending the DS3032 email, i received an autoresponse after a day. Although couple of days later, my ds3032 has not been accepted yet. So i'm thinking I would send the paper copy to them to back-up the email just in case. Btw, if you're petitioning your parents it only shows payment of $70 for AOS coz it will satisfy the other case.best of luck!

Did you send(mail) the Ds3032 form after you got the email from NVC or your mom sent it as soon as the case number is assigned. Thanks in advance..Raj

I sent the form (DS3032) via email. My mother printed the form, filled it out, signed, and sent it directly to NVC via regular mail. The entire process took about 10 days.

I just called NVC and the automated system gave me my Dad's case no with the message "your case was entered September 1, 2009....", just put in NVC system yesterday.

Do I E-mai in the DS-3032 now or do I have to wait a bit longer, etc?

Please advise. Thanks.

I guess that Domi22 parents case are already in NVC at least his father case since 09/01/09.

Here is the info posted by TayRivers and i copied the same from his post..instead of full post...

"What you need to do is, you send one complete set of original documents with the Barcode coversheet of one parent and then for the other parent you have to attach to their Barcode Copversheet a photocopy of the original document and write on it "Original Held In Case # LND2009****** " You must do that for every document that is not the original."

so weird - just got a RFE email CHECKLIST COVER LETTER - that says

"We are waiting for the form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) that was previously sent to the beneficiary"

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review."

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (I-864). However, we are still waiting for the

Immigrant Visa fee(s). Please submit the fee(s) according to the instructions on the IV fee bill sent to

you from NVC."

but they just acknowledged 3032 Friday Oct 2, and I paid IV fee the same day, I hope it's just a computer glitch, will try to call NVC later. :huh:

AVR says RFE was issued Oct 1, but the 3032 was accepetd (by a live person i assume) on Oct 2, I guess AVR and "AER" (automatic e-mail response) systems are in the same - chronically delayed - information state, so they should be regarded as a 2-3 day old information. Besides if the 3032 was considered missing on Oct 1, it might have started the "RFE issue" lengthy process which was finally emailed out on Oct 5 - irregardless of what happened on Oct 2.

after all the warnings - I still managed to pay IV bill too early! ^_^

3 hours later after the RFE - I received email titled "(OLP IV FEE AGENT LETTER)", and the fee status changed to NOT PAID, but I have a receipt for my Friday payment, so I will call and give them the transaction ID number.

My parents' cases were FINALLY completed on Sep 30, so now it's just the waiting game. Unfortunetely, I heard Guangzhou Counsel (China) took longer to process the packages than other countries. Good luck with yours.

happy end of my 3032/IV bill drama - I spoke to the NVC operator, she said she submitted my "too early" payment for review and it may take up to 14 days, but then I went online and status was PAID, so I finally printed my cover sheet, yey!

09/28/09 - AVR:AOS acknowledged

10/02/09 - 3032 was acknol. by NVC, paid IV Bill online

10/05/09 - emails: 1 pm -RFE for 3032, 3 pm - IV bill, 5 pm - status PAID

10/09/09 - ds230 delivered to NVC at 9am

10/14/09 - AVR: Checklist response was received

10/20/09 - login failed! - between 5 pm and 9 pm PST, at 5 pm it was still working

10/21/09 - case complete! (AVR updated after 10 pm) = total NVC 37 days

10/28/09 - interview date email came at 6.30 pm, no AVR changes yet

10/30/09 - AVR: "Case sent to embassy on Oct 29" = total 4 months from delivery of i130 to USCIS

11/02/09 - Medical

11/20/09 - Interview - PASSED!!!

11/28 - POE: LAX

happy end of my 3032/IV bill drama - I spoke to the NVC operator, she said she submitted my "too early" payment for review and it may take up to 14 days, but then I went online and status was PAID, so I finally printed my cover sheet, yey!

Congrats Feliz... your mother might be there before Thanks giving! Congrats again! :D

2009-16-06: I-130 delivered to Chicago Lockbox

2009-19-06: NOA1 receipt date

2009-22-06: Received NOA1 (hard copy)

2009-22-06: Check Cashed

2009-08-09: NOA2 (email letter) APPROVED! :D

2009-18-09: Case no. assigned

2009-25-09: Received AOS Bill and DS-3032 via email and mail

2009-28-09: Paid AOS Bill and Sent DS-3032 to NVC via e-mail

2009-30-09: Sent DS-3032 via Mail
