Hi Tay,

Three days ago, I paid the AOS fee of $70 for my dad's NVC (my mom's NVC linked to it), printed out the Document Cover Sheet, sent in DS-3032 via e-mail for my mom, only IV fee for my Dad appeared in the Online for now (not my mon since she just got NVC case # three days ago).

I have the I-864 (and I-864A) package ready for both my Dad & Mom and can be sent out any time.

Should I send this I-864 package for both of them to NVC now or do I have to wait for NVC to acknowledge recepit of her DS-3032 and send her the IV bill?

I want to speed up the process but of course don't want any hiccups due to sending the I-864 package too early.

Please advise. Thanks.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

Hello guys, can you please add me up to the list..

I just called NVC and they said they had both my parents case already..it took them almost two weeks to recieve and assign a MNL case number. Now I'm waiting for the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill to be generated and they said it could take 2-4 weeks.

just came to update my parents's case. i just got an email from uscis. it's a Request for Additional Evidence email for my mom's case. i am a little worried. i sent everything i needed. and for both my parents's cases, i sent the same doc. does it mean i will get a same email for my dad's case later also? i just can't think what it could be. why they make it so hard on us???

I do keep an eye on the other forum. Thanks for the info Feliz. Yeah, VISAnutz had to call the NVC and tell them that he had paid the bill. I am going to wait until I get the e-mail with either the DS-3032 approval or the e-mail with the DS-230 packet and instructions.

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.

WAC# is the correct USCIS Receipt Number.

We got the Notice of Action in yesterday with some kind of a strange (to me) WAC-XX-XXX-XXXXX receipt number, too long for the case status.

To summarize a rather long typed page in one short phrase, "don't hold your breathe." "You can check our processing dates at the CSC, (63 months) then further wait until a visa is available from the DOS.

Received NVC Case Numbers for both my parents today. Can anyone add to the timeline ( 10/02/2009 ) please.

The lady checked my name, dob and phone and parents names and dob's and then she asked me for my email address and then the parents email ids and she said i should be receiving emails soon in regards to AOS bill and choice of agent form. Hope the process goes smoothly here at NVC.

Since the case numbers are assigned do i need to email/mail the DS-3032 form or do i need to wait until i get email from them. Based on what i read on here some has sent as soon as NVC case numbers are assigned and some sent after they received the email. Please let me know.
