Hello:

This is for a friend of mine he sent on 07/25/09 received NOA1 08/04/09, NOA2 09/11/09 and reached NVC 09/24/09

I am helping him to make a petition for his wife they are from mexico. What it is the next step? I also learning about this process, because as soon as I become US citizen I will make a petition for my mom. He already has his NVC # as well.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

I finally received the NOA1 for my Mom's I-130.

I checked the Receipt Number online and it can't be found.

Should I wait for a couple of days to check it again or should I call

the USCIS?

Any thoughts?

I was out of town for the weekend, just came back. of course, the first thing i did when i came back is checking uscis on my parents's cases. both the cases got touched on 09/27/09. but the cases are still under Initial Review, not approval. does anybody have any idea what's going on with my parents's case?

New Update: Paid the AOS fees for my parents. Although my mom's AOS hasn't been generated, I was given the go signal to pay my dad's AOS fee and it will satisfy my mom's AOS. And surely, it shows my mom's info below when I paid my dad's fee..This is because my mom's case were at NVC when I made the payment for their fees..I just have to wait till the status IN PROCESS change to PAID.

Hi Chinababe!

You're probably getting a NOA2 through the mail. I had that experienced too. It was touched for two days and still showing initial review and then suddenly I got the NOA2 hardcopy through the mail. And now still showing initial review but my case is already approved. Update for my case I just called the NVC to check if they already have assigned number for my petition and he said wait for 2-3 weeks. And call back again..not a good news though but atleast I am moving...:) So anyway, for you Chinababe,don't worry, you'll get a mail this week. They touched mine last sunday and monday and wednesday I got the approved letter. so Good luck!!

my parents's cases got touched again today 09/28. two days in a row. hope i will got NOA2 soon.

I-130 For My Parents

08/10/09 - I-130 Sent to Chicago

08/19/09 - checks cashed ( $355 each )

08/21/09 - I-130 NOA1 Received

09/28/09 - Touched

10/06/09 - Received RFE

10/07/09 - Send RFE request doc.

10/14/09 - Touched (RFE request doc. received by USCIS on oct.13th)

10/27/09 - Approved (approval emails received)

11/05/09 - Rec. both NOA2 in mail. called NVC get case # for mom's case and emails regd.

11/06/09 - called NVC get case # for dad's case and emails regd.

11/09/09 - Received my mom's DS3032 & ASO bill via email

11/10/09 - Paid ASO bill $70

11/12/09 - Received my dad's DS3032 & returned Completed DS3032 forms (By email)

11/12/09 - Send Completed paper DS3032 forms (From China)

11/16/09 - Received IV Bills (By email)

11/18/09 - Paid IV Bills ($400 each)

11/24/09 - I864 mailed via Priority mail

11/30/09 - I864 delivered to NVC

01/14/10 - DS230 mailed via Priority mail

01/19/10 - DS230 delivered to NVC

02/02/10 - Login failed

02/09/10 - forwarded to GUZ

04/26/10 - received interview letter scheduled for 06/17/10 in Guangzhou

HELLO EVERYBODY,

I talked to the NVC operator last week and he informed me that my parent's case had been completed and that i need to wait until the second week of october to get an interview date. But, surprisingly I just got an email from NVC, my parents interview have been schedule for November 5th.....I am excited.....

Hey guys, here is update from my side, after a long long journey, since NVC requested so many additional documents that were beyond my hand to provide them. Finally Now my parents got visa interview letter. Case completed on 09-18-09 and visa Interview is on 11-18-09 at Islamabad, Pakistan.
