does anybody know what's the income requirement for household of 4 ( my husband and i sponse my parents)?

i remember i saw a chart somewhere before, couldn't find it now. please help.

For 2009, its $27,562 (125%)

But I think they will be using the 2008 which is $26,500 (125%)

They will be using 2009, it goes by the date you file the application not the date you earned the money.

I called NVC today and they told me to call after 2-4 weeks as they don't see the cases on their system.

how long is it currently taking for cases to reach NVC?

took 10 days for me to reach NVC. but it differs, some are waiting for more that 15 days now while others gets to NVC system in just a few days..

Please help me..

My parents came to USA for 4 times and in the last three visits they stayed little less than 6 months but once they stayed for 13 months (applied extension and stayed for 13 months..NOT OUT OF STATUS)...

Based on the NVC VJ wiki ( NOTE2: Police Certificate is required for any places which beneficiary has lived longer than twelve (12) months in any other country other than country of citizenship, after age of 16.)

If i have to get get police clearance cerficate from Atlanta, how do i get it? Please let me know.

My understanding is that police reports are not required for USA as that info would come up on the security checks that are done.

Guys, please help. If my husband filling out the form I-864A for my mom, how do we count his income for the question number 11?

Nobody knows?

We did not file I-864A but I-864 only.

In question 11 I would check #1 and #2 and send them tax returns fro the last 3 years (2008, 2007, 2006).

When I filed my I-864, I sent photocopies for 3 recent tax years.

Keep caling them, in most cases 2 weeks or less.... My case took only 10 days..

same here its been 14 days i keep calling nvc everyday since sept. 15 still nothing. operator said waiting period is until 90 days...unbelievable some people is 1 week itd not fair...

Can't believe it - it's so fast. NVC scheduled the appointment for my mom: 10/19/2009. :dance:

Can't believe it - it's so fast. NVC scheduled the appointment for my mom: 10/19/2009. :dance:

Guys, please help. If my husband filling out the form I-864A for my mom, how do we count his income for the question number 11?

Nobody knows?

We did not file I-864A but I-864 only.

In question 11 I would check #1 and #2 and send them tax returns fro the last 3 years (2008, 2007, 2006).

When I filed my I-864, I sent photocopies for 3 recent tax years.

Thank you very much. I have already figured out that I'm required to put in his income from 1099 and W-2

Finally, my Mother's case is approved! :dance::dance::dance: Thanks for the help! I just checked our mailbox yesterday when I was on the way home from work and it was surprisingly I got the NOA2 hardcopy. It took me 4 months of waiting but anyway, I am so happy. I checked my case @ USCIS website and still showing initial review. And now I just sent my Father's I-130.

Please update my timeline! Mom's Case approved Sept 18,09 and Dad sent Sept 25..

Hello:

This is for a friend of mine he sent on 07/25/09 received NOA1 08/04/09, NOA2 09/11/09 and reached NVC 09/24/09

I am helping him to make a petition for his wife they are from mexico. What it is the next step? I also learning about this process, because as soon as I become US citizen I will make a petition for my mom. He already has his NVC # as well.
