Thanks ChinaBabe. I did not do anything other than just submitting the required docs and hope you will get the good news soon. I read in immigration.com forum about 3 other petitions got approved who filed in last week of AUG and looks like USCIS is approving cases fast. Good Luck to all.

Thanks Tay for updating my timeline, can you also update my XXX for service center to CSC please when you have a moment.

I-130 APPROVED for both my parents.

I received email from USCIS last night at 1:15 AM in regards to my parents I-130 approval and here is the message in the email..

"On September 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE...."

What are my next steps....thanks in advance to all you guys...

Tay, Is this date (Sep 21) NOA2 if so can you please update my time line or do you want me to wait till i get the approval letter in the mail.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

I just a posting on immigration.com that the application submitted on 09/04/09 got approved on 09/21/09. Looks like USCIS is lightning fast these days...

I think Obama affected more then website update at USCIS, they are superfast now! Congrats Raj!

I mailed out i864 with economy fedex to deliver friday 9/25

I have a question - how do I find out 3032 was accepted and IV bill was issued?

Do I need to

A ) call every day?

B ) check online bill payment website to see if invoice is there?

C ) just wait for bill in the e-mail?

D ) all of the above?

(sorry I am preparing for exams, my brain is a little skewed lately :wacko: )

BTW after I already assembled my hefty i864 package I found this

"Revised Requirements for Form I-864 Processing"

according to which they simplified requirement and I could qualify based on single 2008 return, but I sent everything anyway.

i also found revised "Tips for Filing Petitions and Applications to the National Benefits Center"

(no more 2hole punchining and ACCO fasteners are specificly advised agains :D , in fact they prefer paparclips, i am assuming because they are scanning papers now)

Congrats to all the recent approvals!

My parents were also approved within 2 months that's fast!

I did not even know until I received the approved NOA2s in the mail yesterday....funny that my online account on the USCIS website did not update yet. I suppose it depends on who has your files! No matter, I'm just glad it was approved! NVC is the next stop!

I had also filed for my sister at the same time, obviously, it will take a long time for her application to get approved. My question was that I reside in the VSC jurisdiction and her file was sent to CSC with my parents' files. Now, VSC seems to be a lot faster at the sibling filings than CSC, is there a way to get the application back to VSC?

I've updated Tay's list...not sure on the format....let us know how you fix the format Tay! By the way, congrats on your parent's GCs!

My progress:

1. I paid AOS bill on September 4, 2009. NVC received it next day, September 5, 2009. Checked website many times, it was "IN PROCESS", so I could not print the "COVER SHEET". Called NVC

3 -4 times, they told me it was ok to send AOS (I-864) without cover sheet. I sent I-864 last Tuesday ( Sept. 15), USPS Priority Mail, NVC received it on

Thursday (Sept.17). The payment status changed to "PAID" on Monday, Sept. 21. I called NVC again to confirm that everything was ok. It was.

2. My mother mailed DS3032 form from Russia to the US about 10 days ago. Today I checked NVC website again and saw that IV bill ($400) was generated. I am going to call NVC in the

morning to confirm that it is ok to pay.

I sent the DS3032 via email for both of my parents and i received an auto response from them regarding verification of case specific info each time they receive an inquiry. Did you guys got an email like this too? thanks..

I was going through the DS-230 form and have questions

Q.30: I will list the places that my parents lived from the age 16, but do i need to get Police Clearance Certificate from each of these places ( one place is a small village in India..i dont how if they police station in that village, other two place are small towns..they have police stations..but not sure if they give now...i asked my Dad to find out....please let me know ).

From the last 30 years or so living in the same city and got the Police Clearance Certificate from this city - Hyderabad.

Also they were here in USA for 4 times and in the last two visits they stayed little less than 6 months and before that they stayed for 13 months (applied extension..not out of status)...do i need to get Police Certificate from the Cities they stayed during their trip to USA. Please let me know.

Q.35. Lists the visits to US. I will list them the last 3 visits and also it has A # ( they wont have this number right ?)

My progress:

1. I paid AOS bill on September 4, 2009. NVC received it next day, September 5, 2009. Checked website many times, it was "IN PROCESS", so I could not print the "COVER SHEET". Called NVC

3 -4 times, they told me it was ok to send AOS (I-864) without cover sheet. I sent I-864 last Tuesday ( Sept. 15), USPS Priority Mail, NVC received it on

Thursday (Sept.17). The payment status changed to "PAID" on Monday, Sept. 21. I called NVC again to confirm that everything was ok. It was.

2. My mother mailed DS3032 form from Russia to the US about 10 days ago. Today I checked NVC website again and saw that IV bill ($400) was generated. I am going to call NVC in the

morning to confirm that it is ok to pay.

P.S. I called NVC this morning. They recived DS 3032 form from my mother (she signed and mailed it from Russia abouit 10 days ago, regular mail). I paid IV fee $400 today.

I am still waiting for AOS approval, it should not be a problem, I make enough to support her.

I hope her interview is going to be in November-December.

Both cases completed at NVC!! Praise the Lord! :dance:

We are now awaiting the Interview Date for the embassy. Apparently they schedule those once a month and I just missed London's scheduling so I will not hear anything until around the second week of October. According to the lady at the NVC, at that point they will be scheduling interviews for November but as they always have more interviews needing to be conducted than can be scheduled in one month they said I may be bumped to December.

I have a few question about I 864 and I 864A, trying to get it ready ahead of time. hope someone can help me with it.

a little bit about my case, I am the sponsor for both of my parents I130. however, i am umemployed. so my husband is going to be the co sponsor, which i believe he has to fill out I 864A. My questions are:

1. do i have to fill out one I 864 for each of my parents, and so does my husband for I 864A?

2. on I 864 part 3 #8. do i choose yes, or no with my husband as a co sponsor in this case?

3. on I 864 part 3 #9, do i need to put my dad's name on my mom's application, and do the same thing on my dad's application?

4. on I 864 part 3 #10,what number should i enter there?

5. on I 864 part 5 #21, household size , it's me as a sponsor, my husband as a co sponsor, my parents. total of 4. what number should i put in each of the a,b,c,d,e,f,g,and h?

6. do i need tax transcript of 2008 or the copy of tax return is good enough?

Hi Tay,

I have a problem about the original documents sent to USCIS per RFE for my Mom's case. Now her case is approved and being transfered to NVC but I haven't received these original documents back (even though I bold-faced in the RFE cover letter to return these back to me after the verification is complete).

Are my original documents being sent to NVC as well? How do I get them back? I prefer to get them back and submit them along with other documents to NVC when required later on for DS-230.

Or are these original documents still with USCIS?

I called USCIS but were told differently by two persons: one told me to submit form G-884 to USCIS to request these original documents back and the other told me to call NVC later to ask for them because the documents would be sent along with the approved case package.

Please advise the best way to get them back, if you have ideas.

I would check with NVC to see if they have the originals. I know that all the papers we submitted ended up in the file that was sent to the embassy, so I think USCIS must send the papers to NVC.

Yes each parent needs a I-864 and a I-864a from your husband

Yes

No they each have there own application so you do not list them here.

b. 1

c. 1

d. if you have children enter number here

e. if you have any other dependents enter number here

f. if you have sponsored anyone before who is already in the USA, enter number here

g. if you have siblings or other parents whos income is being used enter number here

h. enter total here. i.e. you, husband and mom = 3. on the other parents form it will be 3 as well i.e. you, husband and Dad

6. do i need tax transcript of 2008 or the copy of tax return is good enough?

If you are going to send your tax return you will need to send all W2's 1099's and all schedules. If you get a tax transcripts you only need to send that.
