Hello, our case was updated at NVC on Sept 6 -- they sent a package to my mom. (This is for updating the table, thank you.)

Will I receive a letter when my affidavit of support package has been accepted? (not just received..) I checked the NVC hotline but there was no information regarding that set of documents.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

Hello All!

I spoke to NVC operator this morning since IV bill has not been completely generated, and that i need to wait to receive email in a couple of days....i did check online and IV bill shows "NOT PAID", however when i click "pay selected fees" is not doing anything, i think maybe 'cause i entered same Invoice number as I864??...does anybody know if Invoice # is different on IV bill??. :innocent:

Hi everyone

Still awaiting the Police check from Germany. My daughter called the NVC and found that they want my DISCHARGE papers and not my record of service. Would have been really useful if they had told me that straight away instead of asking for my record of service.

I have that particular document handy so once the Police check arrives we are again on track.

We are now sat in an empty house until we leave on Saturday. Life is never dull with the NVC..!

New update: Called the NVC today and my mom's case has been received. Case number was given to me and I gave my email address so I can process my parent's cases online..She said it'll take another week or 2 so i'll be waiting.. What's next for me? Can I send the DS3032 now via email?

HI there... I have a concern, I'm getting ready or prepared with the I 864 and I have a question ....I have my tax return joint with my husbad meaning that I meet the poverty guideline because is a joint return and I have 2 kids..my question is does my husband have to fill out an I 864a? I'm just a little confused with this... if anyone please help me ..I'll appriciate. thank you.....

You need to wait for the email before you can pay the IV fee bill.

Hi Richard, you are having a time of it.... we sent my dads red book that he got when he was discharged from the army, not sure if that is they same as a record of service.

Hope you get the Police report this week and get back on track for case complete by end of the month.

Yes send the email now it takes NVC about 2 weeks to accept it. you can also send a hard copy once you get the email. for the DS3032 and the I-864 fee bill.

If you are using both your income and your husbands income then you need to have him complete a I-864a but if you are only using your income then you do not need the I-864a

Tay Thank For replying that was very helpfulll and yes I have to use his income....the only thing is that he did not file taxes for 2006 because he did not have papers....in that year we were in the prossecing for his green card.

I-130 APPROVED for both my parents.

I received email from USCIS last night at 1:15 AM in regards to my parents I-130 approval and here is the message in the email..

"On September 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE...."

What are my next steps....thanks in advance to all you guys...

Tay, Is this date (Sep 21) NOA2 if so can you please update my time line or do you want me to wait till i get the approval letter in the mail.

Editted to add Raj456 approval and to fix format.

I-130 APPROVED for both my parents.

I received email from USCIS last night at 1:15 AM in regards to my parents I-130 approval and here is the message in the email..

"On September 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE...."

What are my next steps....thanks in advance to all you guys...

Tay, Is this date (Sep 21) NOA2 if so can you please update my time line or do you want me to wait till i get the approval letter in the mail.

Congratulations, Raj. That's a good news. since i filed my parents's before yours, i hope i can get approved notice soon too. just wonderring, was there anything you did could speed up the process?

Your change of address may have slowed your case.. I am sure you will be getting news soon. USCIS seems to have speeded up again..
