Hello Guys,

My both parents cases approved few days back and it took only 70 days... I am waiting for hard copy and NVC case numbers. I am very happy with short time approvels. Thanks God.

Hello Tay,

Once NVC case number assigned to my parents files, and AVR system say Ds3032 etc raeady... can I send 2 emails as choice of agents DS3032.. without wait for anything from NVC??? 2nd I can send emails from my email account or do need to send from my parents..honestly my parents dont deail with email... I need input please...

Hi IT_1, I will help as Tay is probably away for the day. Yes send 2 emails. We sent from our own accounts but others have had theirs sent by family. Recently there has been a delay in processing emails so you may want to consider sending hard copies by mail. That worked for us.

Have you registered an email address with the NVC for emai notification? If not call them after NOA-2 and register your address. Then WAIT to be told to send the DS-3032. You will be told either by email or by checking the NVC automated service.

Hope that helps

Best wishes

Richard

You can keep calling NVC and talk to a operator. I used to call everyday until I got the case number and had given them the email addresses.

You do not list them on each others AOS as they have separate applications.

We got RFE today  and we just sent the required documents today. So I guess we will be expecting the case complete in the next couple of weeks, hopefully!

We got the invoice identification numbers on the fee bills in mail (before we gave NVC our email addresses). But I guess maybe you can try to talk to an operator to find out if the numbers can be given over the phone.

Hey guys.

My Mum had her interview yesterday and was approved

I would like to say Thank you to Tay and others on this board for information and help. You guys are great

I do have one question though. When she arrives at the airport can she go through the USC/LPR line or will she have to go through the Foriegn Nationals line at Immigration?

Here is her interview experience. I hope it helps others.

Her interview time was 9.30am but she got there a lot earlier due to train strikes and joined the outside queue.

At the first check point she had to show her appointment letter and passport. From there she went through security. They were letting three people through at a time.

While standing in line they were told no cell phones at all were allowed inside. Watches, coins, wallets and things like that were to be put in handbags or a little plastic bag. Belts were to be removed as well.

After she went through security she was directed to a desk to get her number then took a seat.

About 2 hours later her number was called so off she went.

The guy asked for her passport and letter and went off to get her file. He looked through it and said “It looks as if someone has done their homework” then asked her the following questions:

1 - Had she ever lived outside of England?

2 - Had she ever been to America?

3 - When would she be planning to travel to the US if she was approved?

He then started talking about how soon she would need her passport.

After that he checked that her address and details were correct and took her fingerprints electronically. He gave her a piece of paper and told her to go back out and wait to be called again.

Another hour and a half later she was called so off she went again.

This time she had a young lady. The lady clarified that I was sponsoring her then asked her the following questions:

1 – How long had I lived in the US?

2 – How did I get to the US?

3 – How did I meet my husband?

4 – Did I like living is the US?

The lady took more fingerprints, but this time it was just the four fingers. Apparently they take them a second time to see if they match the first set and to confirm who you are.

Once that was done the lady said “Congratulations you are approved and welcome to America”

Mum thanked the lady and told her she had made Mum’s day then headed over to the Courier’s desk to pay for the delivery of her passport and documents that she will need to hand over at POE.

Thanks Tay for the reply.

I just thought to share this...i just checked both the cases online and saw the LUD was on 09/10/2009. The message didnt change but just the LUD, last time i saw was the date when it got created 09/02/09. Does that mean someone has started looking into the papers or ?? Post your thoughts/experiences if you have faced similar situation.

Thanks all for your support,

Raj

Well someone must have done something with the cases for it to generate an update. Maybe they are working on it or maybe it is just getting moved from one desk to another...

Time will tell.

Thanks,

Raj
