Hi Vveell!

Thank you. I know the rules. I have to support my mother and help her with the medical exam, double check her paper work, etc. Also it is good to see my mother . I am the only child and I am only one to take care of my mother. By the way, the flight is cheap- $660-800 round trip from MN to Moscow. I am planning to wait ouside the Embassy. There are so many shopping centers, cafeterias, etc. whithin the walking distance to the American Embassy. I am planning to spend about 5-7 days in Moscow.

Gotcha!!! I wish you and your mom luck on an interview. Please keep us informed. Also, what clinic did you choose to have medical examination for your mom? Did you find out about the prices (I've heard that they differ from those given at Moscow Embassy website). Does your mom have all immunizations done, or she is going to have them on a spot?

Don't forget you mom to obtain DHL airway bill before she comes for an interview.

By the way, I flew to Moscow from New York in April, and the price was... $365 round trip. Unbelievable!!!

Sorry to interfere. But it seems that you are still not beyond the time frame provided on USCIS website. According to them, you have to wait until 5 months for the processing of your I-130 application, and only afterward you should start to worry. I doubt the Infopass appointment is going to somehow speed up the processing of your case at the USCIS.

Hope you will hear from them really soon.

hello tay i am starting to worry about my dad's application until now still nothing...not even touch...i know i made a mistake coz i only sent my naturalized paper, my bc, baptismal certificate and the i-130...thats all... they didnt even send me rfe..maybe you know any number that i can call.. dont know what to do..thanks

Have they cashed the check??? If they have not cashed the check then are you sure it was delivered to USCIS.. If you know it was delivered then I would make an infopass appointment at your local office and ask them what is going on...

If you do not know if it was delivered and the check has not been cashed then I would resend that whole thing again, including all the missing documents.

There is no point in calling the 1-800 line as they will not be able to check if the I-130 has been recieved. All they can do is send a service request to the processing center and that will take another 45 days before you would hear anything.

If it was me I would make that infopass appointment but also have another I-130 application ready to go if it turns out you need to resend.

My parents moved and has a new physical address now. I filed my Mom last May and I am fixing to send for my father's application this coming soon after I knew what to do. My problem is the I-130 of my Mother is the old physical address and now on my father's I-130 it's gonna be different. What do you think should I have to do? And there's one more. I found out that on my Mom's I-130. I didn't include my name on the list of all the children of the relative. Now, I am in big trouble huh? I am just mad to myself right now. What a bonehead!I am thinking to make an appointment in the local office but I don't know if it's going to work. I don't know. I am thinking to make a letter to include in the mail with the I-130 of my father. I don't know. Please help me! I really appreciate your help!

If your Mom's I-130 is still at USCIS you can call the 1-800 number and get them to update here address. Submit your Fathers I-130 with the correct address.

Once your Mom's case is approved and goes to NVC you can check they have the correct address for her. I did not list myself on the I-130 as my parents child, but I did make sure that I listed myself on the forms that got sent to NVC, so I would not worry too much about it.

Just wanted to let you guys know that my Mother's petition was approved on Wednesday Sept 9th. WOW! The approvals seem to be moving along fairly quickly!

Once NVC case number assigned to my parents files, and AVR system say Ds3032 etc raeady... can I send 2 emails as choice of agents DS3032.. without wait for anything from NVC??? 2nd I can send emails from my email account or do need to send from my parents..honestly my parents dont deail with email... I need input please...

Hi IT_1, I will help as Tay is probably away for the day. Yes send 2 emails. We sent from our own accounts but others have had theirs sent by family. Recently there has been a delay in processing emails so you may want to consider sending hard copies by mail. That worked for us.

Have you registered an email address with the NVC for emai notification? If not call them after NOA-2 and register your address. Then WAIT to be told to send the DS-3032. You will be told either by email or by checking the NVC automated service.

I just thought to share this...i just checked both the cases online and saw the LUD was on 09/10/2009. The message didnt change but just the LUD, last time i saw was the date when it got created 09/02/09. Does that mean someone has started looking into the papers or ?? Post your thoughts/experiences if you have faced similar situation.

Well someone must have done something with the cases for it to generate an update. Maybe they are working on it or maybe it is just getting moved from one desk to another...
