Hello everyone,

I just called NVC to find out if they approved my AOS(I 864)for my parents. They said everything was fine...no RFE's on 864......good!!!Also, they told me that they are waiting for the DS 230(biographic forms) which I mailed them yesterday...so they should be getting sometime today. I should've send them last week, but I was waiting for my parent's passport pics.

My family (sisters and brothers in law) and I here in the States are planning to visit my parents sometime in November or december....and since I am going to my country, Do anybody knows if they would let me be in the interview day at the US Embassy? or I am not allowed to go inside for the interview?

It is unlikely you would be allowed to go into the interview. You could contact the embassy and ask if they will allow you to go into the embassy with your parents.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

When the case gets to NVC and you get the NVC case number you can give the email address to the NVC operator. You will then get everything by email..

IF I DON'T CALL TO GIVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS, ILL GET EVERYTHING BY MAIL? I KNOW ITS A STUPID QUESTION,BUT IM JUST ANXIOUS TO KNOW. I MISS MY MOM SO MUCH THAT I WANT EVERYTHING TO GO SMOOTHLY!

Hello everyone,

I am just wordering when you send the DS3032 via email. how do you sign your parents's name on the form? can i just type it or do i have to send to my parents's and let them sign it and send it back to me? because that's would take long time.

They will send you something by snail mail but you will wait weeks to get it. You would be much quicker giving NVC your email address. That will speed up the NVC process by weeks..

You can use the DS3032 template here on VJ, you do not need to sent the actual form.

hello tay i am starting to worry about my dad's application until now still nothing...not even touch...i know i made a mistake coz i only sent my naturalized paper, my bc, baptismal certificate and the i-130...thats all... they didnt even send me rfe..maybe you know any number that i can call.. dont know what to do..thanks

Have they cashed the check??? If they have not cashed the check then are you sure it was delivered to USCIS.. If you know it was delivered then I would make an infopass appointment at your local office and ask them what is going on...

If you do not know if it was delivered and the check has not been cashed then I would resend that whole thing again, including all the missing documents.

There is no point in calling the 1-800 line as they will not be able to check if the I-130 has been recieved. All they can do is send a service request to the processing center and that will take another 45 days before you would hear anything.

If it was me I would make that infopass appointment but also have another I-130 application ready to go if it turns out you need to resend.

Yes, the same here. NVC AVR said something (probably updated last night) like "The NVC received your documents on 9/9/2009 and please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the NVC to review these documents and notify you of the outcome of the review".

Well, hopefully it won't be "6 to 8 weeks" long.

Richard and ptrober, any progress on your cases?

I sent my DS230 in today by express mail. That is all they are waiting on. They told me that my AOS was approved (it took about 4 business days after they received it). Given how quickly they processed the AOS, I am hoping that I may be finished at the NVC by the end of next week.

Hi Luckyyy. The NVC Automated service acknowledged that the DS230 package has arrived. Now, like PTROBER it is just a question of waiting......

We hope that it is a speedy process for all of us.

My parents moved and has a new physical address now. I filed my Mom last May and I am fixing to send for my father's application this coming soon after I knew what to do. My problem is the I-130 of my Mother is the old physical address and now on my father's I-130 it's gonna be different. What do you think should I have to do? And there's one more. I found out that on my Mom's I-130. I didn't include my name on the list of all the children of the relative. Now, I am in big trouble huh? I am just mad to myself right now. What a bonehead!I am thinking to make an appointment in the local office but I don't know if it's going to work. I don't know. I am thinking to make a letter to include in the mail with the I-130 of my father. I don't know. Please help me! I really appreciate your help! :crying::crying::crying:

hi tay yes they cashed my check and sent me noa1...thanks i will make infopass...im just confused because when i check online it state that June 8...This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.... but i remember it should be in

Please click on the below link and look on the bottom left side of the page where it says "INFOPASS Schedule an Appointment"

It will ask you for receipt number and the details (simple) and you can select the date and time you want to go....
