Hello,

I just want to give an update in my parent's case. I mailed the choice of agent last thrusday and NVC received and generated the IV fee BILL yesterday....I will send the form when the payment showns as paid which woulbe be in couple days....I mailed the I 864 last week, too but they havent processed it yet.....

Same news as Nancy. IV Bills were generated overnight which I have just paid. The NVC Automated service still has the same message about awaiting DS3032.

But things do seem to be moving.

Now if they could just process the payment before the holiday weekend.....!

BTW, how did you find out that "I-864 Acknowledged at NVC"? did you hear it from the AVR or did you have to speak to an officer?

Oh congrats to all.... good to see things moving at NVC again.

Richard check the payment site tomorrow it may show as paid.. When I did it for my parents it was showing as paid the next day and I was able to print off the Barcode Coversheets.

The AVR is always a little behind, so it is always a good idea to speak to the operator if you need to check on things. I always found the Phone Staff at NVC to be very helpful and always pleasent.

I checked my bank account today(09/03/09) and saw both the checks got cleared yesterday(09/02/09). Also i checked the image of the check and on the back of the check i can see the WAC#(10 digit # starting with 093xxxxxxx) and date of 09/01/09. Does this mean they assigned the receipt number for both my parents (both the numbers are in order).

Please let me know if anyone has seen this information on the checks and if that was the receipt number.

I did change of address for my parents cases on the 29th of Aug. i checked today on uscis website. It shows both casess touched on the 1st of sept. Could it be the address changed or anybody has any idea?

Don't worry. When i got my WAC# on the back of the check i tried to check on the uscis website too, but it didn't work. Few days later i got the NOA1, turn out the receipt number on the NOA1 is different than the one shows on the back of the check. your NOA1 should be in the mail.

Hi all

I am in similar stage with my mother's application. Right now, i have her address as her current location in my Nigeria, her country of residence but as i am paranoid about the not so great mailing system, i would like to use my us address as her contact mailing address.

Is there any cons to doing this? I know she might need to sign forms later and at that point, i can dhl /fedex it.

We sent AOS documents 2 days ago. Still nothing at NVC AVR. So I talked to an operator and she said they haven't received them yet and it's because they are processing things in the order of receipt.

I guess I will give it another day or two.

My emailed DS3032 has finally been received. Similar to Richard, I discovered this by the IV bill showing as NOT PAID rather than receiving the bill by email. So I have paid the bills online and will no doubt receive the emails later today when the NVC's overnight processing catches up!
