Thanks "TayRivers", i just called NVC and gave me & my dad's email addresses, they say in a couple of weeks i should receive Ds3032.

Hello everyone!!

i just called NVC this morning and according to answering service case# was assigned on 8/28, what do i do now???, what's the average time process at NVC before is sent to US Embassy?...also can i send email to NVC on behalf of my Dad since he does not have access to his email acct for DS3032? how soon can i pay I864 bill?...Please advice....hopefully this process at NVC will be quicker.

Thanks!!

Congrats on getting the NVC case #. You need to speak to a NVC operator and give them your Email address and also email address for your Father. Once they have that and you get the email from NVC with the instructions for the DS3032 and the I-864 you can then email the DS3032 to them from your email account.

Here is a copy of the info I put together to help people.

Hope it helps

NVC Center

Once your case is received by the NVC they will each be given a case number. Once that happens you will have to give your email address to the NVC as well as the email address for your parents.

Tips for NVC

Once you know that the I-130 have been sent to the NVC you can start calling them, I did this every day until I got the case number.

NVC phone number 603-334-0700

You need to speak to a officer so skip the automated service by pressing 1 then 5 after you get through.

Once you have the case number you need to give the operator the email addresses for you and your parents.

Next you need to email the NVC the DS-3230 choice of agent. Use this template for the email.

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

DS-3032

http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf

Next you will get a email from the NVC telling you the petitioner that you need to pay the AOS fee bill it will give you the link to the NVC payment site where you will pay the fee using a credit card or debit card.

You only need to pay $70.00 once as both your parents cases are linked and they only charge once.

Once that is paid you will print out a barcode coversheet from the payment site for each parent you will need to attach one to each AOS packet that you have made for each parent

I-864 – AOS Packet

See the link below for full details of what you need to send with the I-864

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

You will receive another email telling you that the DS-3032 has been accepted and telling you that the DS-230 IV fee bill should now be paid. $400.00 each parent. You will go back to the NVC payment site to do this.

[/size]

DS-230

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/DS-0230.pdf

Again once it shows as paid you will print out another barcode coversheet to include with the DS-230 for each parent. You will need to include Originals of the following documents for each parent.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES

ADOPTION PAPERS

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

MARRIAGE TERMINATION (DIVORCE)

COURT RECORDS

MILITARY RECORDS

POLICE CERTIFICATE

2 PHOTOGRAPHS

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FOR ALL MARRIAGES

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE

You can use the time that the I-130 is being processed to gather all the above document together so that you have them ready to send as soon as you get to each step at NVC.

Once all the paperwork has been received at NVC they will review your parents cases this can take anything from a few days to a few weeks.

Once the review is complete then you will get a email telling you that the case is complete and has been forwarded to the embassy in your parents country.

You will also get a interview letter telling you the date of the interview and a link to the Embassy website with instructions on how to get the medical done and instructions for the interview.

Just a quick update.

My parents have not received their SSN, so we went to the local SSA office, they told us that there is no trace of them in the SSA system so they filed the SS5 form and the lady told them they will need to verify the info and it could be up to 8 weeks before they get their SSN. She did take a copy of there IR5 visa and their birth certificates.

We still have not heard anything from USCIS, thought they might have got their welcome letter by now.

Oh The joys....

Hello guys, if you sent emails to NVC, how long does it usually take for them to get back to you? The auto response said "please allow 10 business days for a response". :crying: "10 business days" is slow!

Should I call NVC to make sure that they receive everything and ask them what is the estimated processing time?

Why do we have to send Original Documents along with DS-230 as per this post? If we send them Original certificates will they mail us back the originals. As i read in this forum that parents have to take all Originals to the Consulate when they appear for interview. Please clarify.

Thanks Raj

Thanks "TayRivers", i just called NVC and gave me & my dad's email addresses, they say in a couple of weeks i should receive Ds3032.

Once your case is received by the NVC they will each be given a case number. Once that happens you will have to give your email address to the NVC as well as the email address for your parents.

You will receive another email telling you that the DS-3032 has been accepted and telling you that the DS-230 IV fee bill should now be paid. $400.00 each parent. You will go back to the NVC payment site to do this.

New Update: I just mailed today my mom's RFE to USCIS-CSC. And came in the mail too was my dad's AOS Fee Bill InVoice that comes with payment instructions online and a DS3032. Should i start paying online for my dad's AOS? And eventhough I received this DS3032 form, can i still email them the DS3032 and opt for electronic processing? I am planning to wait for my mom's approval before I start my dad's AOS & DS3032, is that possible? Besides, I save $70, I wanted that both cases are processed together..help!

Hi, Anyone knows NVC's FAX number to fax in DS-3032 form? Thanks.

It is 1-603-334-0791

Lifesaver Tay

My daughter just called the NVC and they told her that they are no longer accepting faxes! So I have sent faxes and hardcopies.

And of course the original emails which they will probably suddenly find time to enter!

Such fun!

Further to yesterday's posting. The NVC fax number did not work. The faxes failed several times yesterday.

I called the number this morning at 5am UK time and it rang for about 5 minutes and then cut-off. It never connected.

I will try it once more but I think that we will have to wait for the letter to reach them or for the email to be opened.

Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.

Am I understanding it correctly - All of us newly approved should prepare to mail the paper version of 3032, because e-mail seems to take 10-14 days to process?

Hello guys, if you sent emails to NVC, how long does it usually take for them to get back to you? The auto response said "please allow 10 business days for a response". :crying: "10 business days" is slow!

Should I call NVC to make sure that they receive everything and ask them what is the estimated processing time?

If it is a question you have for NVC then you would be better to call them and speak to an officer. Call the number then press 1 then 5 to speak to a person.

Why do we have to send Original Documents along with DS-230 as per this post? If we send them Original certificates will they mail us back the originals. As i read in this forum that parents have to take all Originals to the Consulate when they appear for interview. Please clarify.

Thanks Raj

NVC require the originals, they will not accept photocopies, If you read the instruction that will come with all the forms it clearly states you must send original documents.

You send the originals to NVC and they forward them along with the case papers to the Consulate for interview. All the originals will be returned to your parent at the interview.

You do not need to take action on your dad's case right now. You can wait for the approval of your mothers I-130 and then do all the paperwork for NVC at the same time.

No harm will be done to your dad's case by waiting, the case can stay at NVC for 12 months before they would return it to USCIS because of no action.

I spoke to someone yesterday who had just had their DS3032 accepted in 4 days, So it looks like it varries as to how long they take to input the DS3032 email info.

I wouls still do the email, but send a hard copy in the snail mail as well.
