Its so anoying when you know they have the paperwork but they just have not done anything with it.. Hang-in there Richard, it wont be long.

I spoke with the NVC this morning. They have received my I-864 and are processing. As far as the emailed DS3032, they stated that they are 2-3 weeks behind on emails due to the sheer volume they receive. Right now it is faster to mail or fax DS3032.

Wow that is not good news. I think I would be faxing it today if I had emailed it and was still waiting.

Update on my Parents

They have been here for almost 3 weeks now and we have not received the SSN or the Welcome letter yet. We are planning on going to the SSA on Friday if nothing has arrived by then. We so need the SSN so that they can activate their medical insurance and also get their bank accounts changed from non-resident aliens to LPR. Dad wants to get his MA drivers License so he can buy a car. They are feeling a bit in limbo right now.

My daughter just called the NVC and they told her that they are no longer accepting faxes! So I have sent faxes and hardcopies.

And of course the original emails which they will probably suddenly find time to enter!

Richard & ptrober,

How long did it take for NVC to process your payments of the fee bills? We paid the fee bills online 6:30pm pacific time on Monday (8/24/2009). They are still showing "In process", however we are seeing the pending transactions in our BOA online banking this morning. I know, I know that I have to be patient, but like everyone else, I just want to send all the documents to NVC as soon as they clear the payment. The sooner, the better! :blush:

I paid all the bills for my parents on line in the morning and they were showing as paid after 2 days. You may find as you paid in the evening that it will be showing as paid later today or in the morning.

The CSC timeline shows 5 months for I-130 for IR-5, is it time to hit the panic button yet?? :angry:

It not time yet to hit the panic button.. from mid March until just 2 weeks ago there was very little approvals for any I-130's They just started gett NOA2 and being passed to NVC for the next stage, I would think you should be hearing something soon.

Further to yesterday's posting. The NVC fax number did not work. The faxes failed several times yesterday.

I called the number this morning at 5am UK time and it rang for about 5 minutes and then cut-off. It never connected.

I will try it once more but I think that we will have to wait for the letter to reach them or for the email to be opened.

Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.
