HELLO EVERYONE!!

JUST RECEIVED EMAIL FROM USCIS , MY DAD'S I130 HAS BEEN APPROVED AND LETTER WAS SENT VIA MAIL ON AUG. 19TH, CAN'T WAIT TO GET NEWS FROM NVC.!!!

Congratulations!! I called the NVC today after a week of my dad's approved case @ USCIS and it just got to their system yesterday. The Lady Officer asked for the beneficiarys name & DOB and same thing with me, the petitioner. She asks for email addresses but opted to just wait till my mom's case gets approved. In that way the other case can catch up and have their papers processed altogether including their interviews..

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

I've just received an email tonight and it's an RFE for my mom's case asking for more evidence or information. They've just sent the mail today so I'm not sure what else to prove... i'll let you know what it is when I receive it..

I-864 fee paid yesterday and DS-3032 forms returned by email.

After 15 weeks waiting for the NOA-2 the speed of all this is quite breathtaking. I even had to stop packing to send the emails!

mooninlove, sorry to hear you get a RFE for your mum's case. I hope it is something real simple that you can send right back to them.

Richard, as you said the speed of the NVC part of the journey is breath taking. You will be getting on the flight before you know it.

I put in the case no and all I got back was "on June 1, we sent you NOA1" but nothing else. I also registered to be notified by e-mails for updates on cases for my parents.

Did I do all the necessary things to get update from USCIS by e-mails, just as you guys did?

Please advise. Thanks.

Yes you have done everythng you can. You are not likely to get any up-dates until the I-130 is approved, Unless you get a RFE. My parents I-130 are still saying pending!! and they have been in the US for two weeks now. So some people never get any up-dates.

I-130's that were filed in March/April are just getting approvals now so it could be a few more weeks before you hear anything. Hang in there it will happen...

Hi Domi22

You will in due course hear from the USCIC. Sadly it all takes time. We have just been waiting 15 weeks to hear something after we received the NOA-1. Just keep checking and eventually it will change. Then your whole world will go into hyperdrive!

I hope you do not have to wait the same length of time for those of us who filed in April.

Until then do not worry, you are doing all you need to!

Did I do all the necessary things to get update from USCIS by e-mails, just as you guys did?

Yes you have done everythng you can. You are not likely to get any up-dates until the I-130 is approved, Unless you get a RFE. My parents I-130 are still saying pending!! and they have been in the US for two weeks now. So some people never get any up-dates.

I-130's that were filed in March/April are just getting approvals now so it could be a few more weeks before you hear anything. Hang in there it will happen...

I have a question about the I-130. They're asking the A#. Do we have to say N/A or give the A number. I put my A# on my Mother's I-130. And I am just wondering if that will cause my Mother's case delayed. And that's why I asked you that because I am fixing to file for my Father now. Please, I need your advise! thanks

May 21,2011: Called NVC got case number

May 26,2011: called NVC to set up emails

May 26,2011: received an email from NVC- P3AU english(stating the visa is not available for your use)

I have a question,

Richard UK, It looks like our documents are being processed almost at the same time....

I got a case number assigned for each parent on August 18th, I gave them my email and parent's email address and I am still waiting for the choice of agent. Are they going to e-mail me that form(ds 3032) or do I need to call to see if the choice of agent has been generated?? What did you do?

Also, I am getting a little bit confused about if I should translate some docuemnts such as police records or should I just mail them in spanish whenever the time comes? I friend of mine told me that I do not need to translate some documents for the DS 230 if they are in english or spanish.

Pls everybody tell me your experience...
