I called every day too: NVC automated system said that I-864 and the fee bill was sent out last Friday.

BTW, how long does it take for the NVC package to reach us in the mail?

I received yesterday the NOA2 hard copy and it confirms that the case has been sent to NVC. So how early can I call the NVC and what's the number again? Still waiting for my mom's approval..

The number is 1-603-334-0700 You will need the reciept number from the NOA1 or 2. To speak to a officer press 1 then 5. I called everyday from when I got the NOA2.

They send it to you in a email, they do not send it by snail mail. did you give the NVC your email addresses? You just need to follow the instructions in the email for paying the I-864 and downloading the I-864 forms if you dont already have them.

Further to my message about my daughter giving our email details to the NVC. She felt uneasy about this and called back to check.

She found out that the first lady had not bothered to enter the email details!

She made sure this time that they were definitely added.

Be aware and double check everything!

just curious, when NVC gets the i-864 fees and documents along with Visa fees and DS230s, they wait for IV number being available correct?

how will my parents be notified of interview? if parents have designated myself as their agent on DS3032, will i get the interview notices on their behalf? and then i have to notify my parents of this date? i am little confused....

also will that notice have instructions on how to do medical and other necessary requirements?

On NVC site preparing for interview section, it says dont forget to bring original birth certificates and marriage certificates, but i thought we'd have to send the original to NVC when processing IV forms, how can i bring another original to interview? i thought parents had to collect their originals at the interview fm the embassy folks?

There is no wait for a IV number for parents.

You will both get a email telling you when the interview is and giving full istructions on what you need to do before the interview date.

Yes it is included with the interview email

If you have already sent the original documents to NVC then you do not have to take more to the interview. Your parents will be given all the original documents back at the end of the interview.

Richard you do not need to tell NVC when you are ready for an interview. Once NVC have got all the required forms and documents they will review all of it and then list the case as complete.. at that point NVC will issue the interview date and send you and your daughter an email with the interview details and instructions for booking your medical. The US Embassy in london will not email anything to you, it all comes from NVC.

DS3032 email received and replied (by e-mail). AOS fee paid online!! Wow... working with the NVC is very enjoyable compared to the CIS!!

Moving along nicely... but still waiting for that missing police record!!

for my parents's I 130, they just cash the checks today. they cash the checks really fast. however, i haven't hear anything from them yet. hopely both the NOA1 is in the mail now.

Honestly there is so much conflicting information around. That is such a relief as there have been postal disputes in the UK and I am glad that they will now not affect us.

I was originally expecting a letter from the Embassy and then a letter after our postal response.

Great news for PTROBER. I hope that our emails come though today.

I found working with NVC to be very good. The information they gave was accurate and they were very helpful, A big change from calling the 1-800-misinfo line at USCIS.

I was amazed at how fast everything goes once you get to NVC, we had originally planned for my parents approval to happen about Sept/Oct so when everything went so fast that they had their interview in July we were so happy that they would be able to be here before the end of summer.

Now we are just waiting to get their Greencards and SSN in the mail..

JUST RECEIVED EMAIL FROM USCIS , MY DAD'S I130 HAS BEEN APPROVED AND LETTER WAS SENT VIA MAIL ON AUG. 19TH, CAN'T WAIT TO GET NEWS FROM NVC.!!!
