I have been using USCIS website for a while. My WAC 09-184-XXXXX case was received on April 7, 2009 and still pending. How do I know if they even touched it?

The date will change but there is no change in the status.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

TayRivers and others, who have already gone through the NVC... Can you say what exactly documents did you include in you DS-230 package? Do I need to provide my mother's photos, copy of passport, police certificate, etc...

yes you will! mine was 16days ahead of you and got my email notice of approval aug.12, 2009. althugh it's my dad's case that got approved 1st, i hope my mom's gonna be approve soon since they were filed together....best of luck!

thanks mooninlove for being optimistic! I am just impatient for this things. I am just eager to see my Mother! I am trying to be patient and optimistic and hopefully will hear a good news pretty soon. I don't know! So anyway,I hope we'll get the approval letters pretty soon! yeah! Best of Luck!

This is what I sent with our DS-230 package:

Cover sheet.

Completed and signed application (with original signature)

2 photos

Copy of biometrics page of Mum's passport

Police certificate - original and a 1 copy.

Mum's birth certificate - original and 1 copy.

Mum's marriage certificate - original and 1 copy

Dad's death certificate - original and 1 copy

My birth certificate - orginal and 1 copy

My marriage certificate - orginal and 1 copy

Some of those things did not apply to us but they might to you.

Hello,

I am just waiting to call NVC on monday to see if they have assign a case number for my parents petition yet. My parents sent me their police records, and court records in spanish....Do I need to translate this documents too? I read on this forum or somewhere that the only documents that I DO NOT need to translate are the police and court records...Pls, I want to make sure that I am doing this correct.,.....I checked the NVC website and they say that ALL documents need to be translated. Please, can anyone clarify me on this?

Other questions,

What is the email address that I need to send the Choice of Agent? Do I need to wait until I get the case numbers from NVC, correct?

By the way, My I-130 was in VSC , not in CSC.

Yes you must get every document translated and then you send the original and the translation to NVC.

You can not email the choise of agent until you have a case number and the DS3032 has been generated. The email address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov
