Help please!

So I received an email for both my mom and dad's cases, the email stated I need to submit an original or certified copy of my birth certificate. I submitted a certified copy of my birth certificate as our civil registry doesn't provide us with original birth certificates, the birth certificate is signed by the head of the civil registry and it has been stamped with the date when the birth certificate was requested. I called the NVC today and explained that I submitted a certified copy and it had original signature and date stamped on both of them. The guy told me all he could do was have a supervisor review the information... so... what's going to happen now? I do have 2 more certified copies of my birth certificate, should I send them anyway even when they look just like the ones I already sent?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

06/21/2010: Called NVC, case was escalated and a supervisor will review paperwork, I'm to call in 2 weeks!!! grrrrr

07/05/2010: Called NVC one more time, I was told I did not send all the information (not true as I have copies of the documents sent) so I have to send "missing documents" again

07/16/2010: Mailed "missing documents"

07/19/2010: "Missing documents" delivered

07/21/2010: "Missing documents" received and entered in the system

08/19/2010: Sign in FAILED and cases completed per AVR!

09/01/2010: Rcvd email for interviews on 10/21/10. YAY!!!!!

Just hang on tight your NOA2 will come soon. I got mine 2 months after filing, and some got it within 4 months.

Thanks..... you make me feel relieved. I notice though that most of you guys got an email for youe NOA's from USCIS, i got my NOA1 in mail but no email? Just wondering.......

Okay, I log-in to the immigrantvisas.state.gov website couple of times and it always says "Sign in failed....Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error." Does it mean my mom's case is complete? Yay! (L)

That's a good sign in a couple of days you will received email for your mom's interview, probably in August since their interview schedule is mostly out 2nd week of the month for the following month. Hang on there!!

Help please!

I too recieved an RFE for my mairrage certificate but I included my original copy in the package. I called yeaterday and was asked to wait 2 weeks. Please keep me posted with what happens. I will do the same.

I too recieved an RFE for my mairrage certificate but I included my original copy in the package. I called yeaterday and was asked to wait 2 weeks. Please keep me posted with what happens. I will do the same.

I-130 - 355 per application

I-864 - 70 bucks, usually just 1 time payment of 70 bucks if the casefiles are 'married' together at NVC, otherwise 70 x 2.

DS-230 - 400 per parent

Then there is the cost of the medical exam, this varies.

So if I filed for my wife and 2 kids (both under age 21), would that mean I pay DS-230 of $400 x 3? is that correct?
