I have so many questions…so please bear with me.

Is there a way to sign on to NVC website and check status of what’s been accepted and what’s pending?

After everything is complete, I noticed many of you received a message – “sign on failed”; do you sign on by clicking on "pay online" and then typing in the case and invoice number?

I have just sent out the form I-864ez yesterday. My $400 bill now shows paid. When should I send out DS-230 form and supporting documents?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

no - is only the online payment portal.

you get 'no status' about anything received - but ...

usually - the IV fee bill 'showing up to be paid' is good sign the DS-3032 was not only received, but also accepted and placed in the casefile.

usually - when you get a 'sign in fail' on the online payment portal - NVC has received all of yer documents and placed them in the casefile.

now - when to send in the DS-230 ? when you can PRINT the coversheet FOR the IV fee bill, then it's safe to send off the DS-230 (with that coversheet included)

Many ppl get interim status, as well, by calling the NVC hotline, and either checking the AVR system (available 24/7) or by talking with a Human at NVC.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you Darnell for replying. Can you please help me identify coversheet for the IV fee bill? I have a pdf from NVC which asked for the $400 visa processing fee. The last page of the pdf header says "Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice"; in that last page, it has case number with bar code, IV Invoice for (Beneficiary name),Beneficiary ID, Invoice Date, Amount Due, and Invoice I.D. Number. After that it states not to send the payment to NH facility and some payment instruction. ... Is this it?

Thanks again.

If you can log in to the payment portal (again) - take a look - you should see 2 clickable links for IV - one for the coversheet, another for the paid receipt. The cover sheet will not 'show up' to be clicked on, until the payment has cleared and NVC posts the cleared payment.

Wow, I didn't notice it there. Thanks Darnell.

I did not include this cover letter in my AOS package; I did include the AOS invoice that had the case barcode on it. I am feeling really nervous about this now. Do you think its going to significantly delay my proccess. Please let me know if anyone had experienced something like this.

Thanks.

Hi everybody. I had received an RFE for my mom's case stating that the birth certificates i had submitted were not from the appropriate authority. After much struggle, i was able to get mine but my mom's birth certificate was never registerd so i sent in a letter from the issuing authority that the birth certificates are not available plus sent in copies of her school records showing her date of birth. i hope they accept it. I was wondering what the usual turn around time was for RFE being looked at and case getting approved?

thank you

looks like i shut down the topic. :)

"•Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error."

Is that what people mean when they say "login failed" in there signiture or is this something else?
