Hi Everyone,

I received the Interview letter for my mom for May 13. I just want to know if she has to schedule the appointment to get her medical or she needs to schedule it herself. Her embassy is in Manila, Philippines. Your response is greatly appreciated.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

5 years ago when I got my interview letter it also had an appointment for medical checkup, they don't include that medical appointment now on the letter?

5 years ago when I got my interview letter it also had an appointment for medical checkup, they don't include that medical appointment now on the letter?

no it's not included anymore...nvc will only schedule you an interview appointment and its up to you to get your medical done

actually you don't have to wait for an interview appointment letter to get you medical done...you can go for advanced medical just with your USCIS approval and a letter from NVC stating manila case # & passport along with a photocopy of each :star:

I paid 70 USD for my mom and nowmy dad's case is still showing to pay 70 USD more. I called cust service and they told me that I should not pay again. How do I get Cover letter ? It has been week and still site shows to pay money on my dad's case. Should I send my mom's cover letter on both AOS ?

Lavoparents,

The same happened to me, so I called the NVC and they somehow fixed it and emailed me the cover letter. It took like 2 days from when I called for the AOS to show paid and for them to email me the cover letter though.

The weird part is that my dad's cover letter was a little bit different, for instance it didn't have his name, only the case number and the address to mail the AOS packet was different than the address that my mom's cover letter had so I had to mail both packets in different envelopes. Hopefully they will have their interview together!

02/24/2010: I-30 approved for mother

03/02/2010: Case Number assigned by NVC and registered email addresses

07/21/2010: "Missing documents" received and entered in the system

08/19/2010: Sign in FAILED and cases completed per AVR!

oh really? thats good then specially for that dreaded sputum test that will delay the beneficiary for 2 months if found "positive". thanks again. :)

3/17/2010 - Sent RFE

3/18/2010 - RFE delivered at NVC

3/24/2010 - Case Complete !!!!!!!!!! Yee-pee !!!

5/3/2010 - Passed Medical

5/13/2010 - Passed Interview

5/26/2010 - Entry into US (POE Miami, FL)
