Hi Raj,

I am preparing the I-864 for my father. I already sent the I-864 for my mother. In questions #21, f. If you have sponsored any other persons on an I-864 or I-864EZ who are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here ___. Do I have to put 1 for my mother or just put 0 since my mother is not a permanent resident yet. Please advice. Thanks.

Does anyone with relevant experience or knowledge know if one can track (via email, text or on website) the green card production after entering USA with immigrant visa? If yes, is the case number same as the original petition? I would really appreciate the information. Thank you.

I already paid for my mother's AOS last 2/23 and NVC told me that I don't have to pay for my dad anymore. They advise me to send the AOS now but I don't know what coversheet to put with the packet. Please advice. Thanks.

Were you able to figure out what cover sheet to use for your dad's application? I have the same issue. His AOS is showing as paid but I dont have the option to print out the cover sheet, I dont know if I should use my mom's which won't have my dad's information but my mom's.

Please let me know what you did! or if anybody else knows please let me know!

Does anybody knows how often the NVC payment website is being updated? I paid my IV bill for my mom last March 31 and checked my bank and the payment has been cleared already yesterday April 1. I tried to log-in to the payment site to see the status but still in process. Maybe I should try again tomorrow.

03/31/2010- Sent the package (Form I-130 including fees and all the requirements needed)through USPS.To Chicago Lockbox.

Once a day in the night based on my experience.

I sent DS 3032 last friday via email and got email that I will be agent of choice and soon I should receive DS 230 fees inst. and then packet. Also paid AOS fees today and waiting for payment to process.

Still my father's case is pending at USCIS and uscis is not willing to do anything until it goes out of processing time which is 5 months so I still need to wait atleast 1 months before they can do anything on that case.

How do we schedule the appointment at the US embassy abroad? The NVC operators said they will schedule the interviews for May on the second week of April. Well, it's the second week already but I haven't received any email from them about the interview schedule. I just want to know beforehand as my mom has to prepare for her medical as well.

I also noticed that I have a date incorrect (by a couple of days only), and they haven't picked it up, which they should've picked up from the death transcript of my father that I sent. I never talked to an operator about it. I guess it's not such a big deal, since they have all certificates in original and maybe realized that mistakes happen.

NVC will schedule Interview Date and Time and will send you and the beneificiary an email with the details about Interview. We do not have control on how and when we can schedule it.

Hello,

Can somebody please tell me the difference between filing an I-864 or and I-864A or and I-864EZ?

I am sponsoring both of my parents, I am married, we have 1 daughter and we do our taxes together. I am totally confused and the USCIS website doesnt give you the difference for each of them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

03/02/2010: Case Number assigned by NVC and registered email addresses

03/04/2010: Rcvd email for AOS and DS-3032 for mom

03/22/2010: I-30 approved for father

03/23/2010: Paid AOS for both parents

03/30/2010: Rcvd email for AOS and DS-3032 for dad

03/31/2010: Emailed DS-3032s from both parents' email addresses

04/06/2010: DS-3032s accepted and Rcvd IV fee bill by email for both parents

04/20/2010: Paid IV fee for both parents

04/24/2010: Mailed both sets of AOS for both parents

04/27/2010: AOS packets delivered

05/25/2010: Mailed DS-230s for both parents

05/28/2010: DS-230s delivered

06/18/2010: RFE- Missing petitioner's marriage and birth certificates **Weird as I mailed both of them**

06/21/2010: Called NVC, case was escalated and a supervisor will review paperwork, I'm to call in 2 weeks!!! grrrrr

07/05/2010: Called NVC one more time, I was told I did not send all the information (not true as I have copies of the documents sent) so I have to send "missing documents" again

07/16/2010: Mailed "missing documents"

07/19/2010: "Missing documents" delivered

07/21/2010: "Missing documents" received and entered in the system

08/19/2010: Sign in FAILED and cases completed per AVR!

09/01/2010: Rcvd email for interviews on 10/21/10. YAY!!!!!
