per AVR, NVC has entered I-864 & DS-230 in their system for each parent...allow 6-8wks =)

Keep your fingers crossed... If you have sent all the required documents then there will be no RFE and within few days your sign in will fail and then in a day or two after sign in fails your case will be COMPLETED......

I think the people at the NVC are on crack today. Just since 8:30am this morning I have received the same two emails 3 times!!

It is the checklist letter saying that they have not yet received the DS-230 (which was delivered almost 10 days ago now). Anyway, on the 17th the AVR said that they sent out the checklist - but then on the 19th when I called it back it said that it had received the checklist response (I assumed they had received the DS-230 because I obviously hadn't done anything different in those two days).

So I called and spoke with a very unhelpful lady at NVC who said that although they may have received it, it can take up to 15 days for it to be linked to my case!!

Jeezz. Anyway I suppose I will just ignore these emails and keep calling the AVR in the hope that it changes?

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

For example:

You send in all your documentation to the NVC...

But there's a problem with the Affidavid of Support... like say you don't make enough money... but you send in all of the documentation...

You will get a RFE--request for evidence for whatever is missing or incomplete. You then respond to it.

Cool, thanks. I am just worried about the whole interview thing. After all of this paperwork and jumping through hoops, I don't want to go to the embassy for the interview just to be told that there is some paperwork issue that is holding us up.
