Got approval email for Mom's I 130 case. Still waiting for Dad's case.

I noticed that I had LUD for both cases on 03/02 and now dad's case LUD is showing Dec 2009. while Mom got approval. What could that mean ?

11/30/09: Received by USCIS

12/07/09: ND for both parents

12/11/09: NOA1 Received for both parents

03/10/10: I-130 approved ( LUD on USCIS online ) ( For Mom's case )

04/17/10: I-130 approved ( LUD on USCIS online ) ( For Dad's case )

04/19/10: Received I-130 approved notices (NOA2) ( For Dad's case )

NVC: ( Mom's case )

03/30/10: NVC Case #s assigned to mother's case.

04/02/10: Rcvd. emails for DS-3032 and AOS Fee .

04/02/10: Emailed DS-3032.

04/05/10: Rcvd auto response from NVC ( Did mail too via USPS ).

04/05/10: Paid AOS fees.

04/06/10: Paid IV visa fees.

04/07/10: AOS fee processed. Got cover letter for AOS.

04/30/10 : Mial out AOS packet.

08/09/10 : Case completed

04/28/10: IV fee processed. Got cover letter for AOS.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

Still at " In Process " at Payment Status for both of the bills . :( I have just called NVC and the operator told me that she would notice a supervisor to check on my case about the payment problem. I think that something 's going wrong in the payment portal. I'm so ready for sending both of AOS packet and Ds - 230 packet , but now i have to wait for no reason :(.

I think that they haven't realized that the payment portal is still freezed. I have just checked my cases and nothing was changed. " In Process" payment status continues to possess me today!! :( Another relief from Clarax...

i called NVC last month, and they said my parents' case had been forwarded to U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou, China on feb. 9th 2010. it's been a month. i haven't heard anything, i contacted U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou, they email me back

We have received an electronic notice that the NVC is sending the case file to the Consulate February 11, 2010. We have not yet received the case file. Shipments of case files mailed from the NVC may take several months to arrive in China and clear Chinese customs. We will schedule your father for visa interview within 2-3 months after the physical file is received.

Quick Question :

I have filled for both parents. Mom's case got approved but father's not yet. Do I need to submit two affidavit of Support or just one combine ?

Also if any one from Mumbai consulate area ? How do I get PCC from ahmedabad, India ? Do I need any letter from NVC to get one ? or I can ask my parents to go and get one right now.

Congrats to all of us !! Both of my fee bills change to "Paid" in this afternoon and I already sent all of packets for both parent in mail. We're moving on !!! Just wait for case complete or RFE. :) Hope " Case Complete" . God blesses us !!!

You need two send in two I-864's, one with your Mom's case and one with your Dad's case. There are couple of guys out in this forum who got their PCC from Ahmedabad and one of them is smithjohntpa. Hope he will check and answer you soon....

My parents got PCC both from Regional Passport Office and District Police Office....within a week.....

You need either one PCC or two PCC's based on the following...

1) If the applicant is residing in India and his or her Indian passport was issued within past 6 months then you need one PCC from from Regional Passport office.

2) If the applicant is residing in India and his or her Indian passport was issued more than 6 months prior to visa application then you need to get two PCCs one each from

a) Regional Passport office

b) The district police office serving the applicant's place of residence
