I have another question though on AOS Form I-864. On question #9 - I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within six months of the principalimmigrant named in Part 2 above. Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition.

Do I have to include the name of the father who is also being petitioned like my mother? Or do I leave it blank since my father is on a separate visa petition? Please help. Thanks.

You will not get email from NVC after DS-3032 is accepted but it will generate IV Fee Bill once DS-3032 is entered into NVC system.

It is advised not to pay the IV Fee until we receive IV Fee Bill in the email as this will delay the process. This happened to few of the members here in this forum........

both AOS bill and IV bill are still in progress!!! The NVC operator told me that I have to give more time for them to change my paid status. I didnt receive any letter via email for IV bill ( my Dad's case) but I already paid for IV bill. I saw that some wikiers said that we should not pay the IV bill until receive a letter regarding to IV bill for our cases.

Sansan83, do not pay IV Fee Bill even if it is available....you will get IV Fee Bill email within a day or two and then you can pay and by doing this your status will not get delayed.........usually the status changes to PAID after second day of payment....

The case will get delayed if you pay IV Fee Bill without getting IV Fee Bill Email.

Looks like they have some issues with the site maintenance.......and the ways things are progressing....

yes, that's what i thought too. Ihaven't received any IV bill but there is an iv invoice when i log on to nvc websit. so confuse!!! my aos fee until now is still in progress, it's been 5 daysss. so u are not the only one :-)

I paid IV fee at 03/05/2010 because i got the letter regarding to IV Bill just for my mom case.Then, I logged on my dad case and saw the IV fee showed as "Not Paid" and I paid it too.At that time, I really did not know that we have to receive the IV Bill via email before paying it. Do you know the delay time? is it a month? I really worry about that.

I haven't received a bill from them yet though.

That's my problem too! I am even worse, Aos fee bill and IV fee bill are hanging on !!! I have just checked the website and they are still "IN PROCESS"...

I have to disagree about paying the IV Bill.

We and many others paid the IV Bill the moment it showed on the NVC Website. Some of us did not even receive and IV Bill by email or hardcopy.

Paying it immediately gave us no delay whatsoever. The only delays we incurred were processing of the DS3032 caused by a backlog of emails and clearance of the DS230 cause by missing documents.

All the people who paid their IV Bills quickly did not suffer as a result.

If the NVC website shows that you can pay your bill then obviously it is ok to pay it! Their system to send out emails and hardcopies really needs some attention.

People may disagree with this but from my and others experience - it does not cause delays!!!

I know we should be able to pay when it is available to Pay on the NVC payment website, but if i remember correctly VisaNutz had issues when he did the same and at that time he had to talk to NVC quite a few times to resolve this issue and this happened to couple of others at that time. So the members who had issues advised us not to pay as soon as it is shown up on the payment site instead asked us to Wait for the IV Fee Bill and i am passing it on to other members..based on this experience.......

There were couple of members out in immigration.com site too..who faced similar issues.....

I'm in the same boat. Paid IV fee bill without receiving email for it. Mine showed as PAID last night (once the site was up and running).

Oh well, my role is done. I haven't had such stress in a while, collecting all documents, filling out forms, making sure nothing is missing. Very, very stressful.

Hopefully there won't be much of a delay.

so Raj, then i don't have to put my father on question 9 for mother's form and vise versa for father's form? I had wrote bother their names on question 9 since both will be coming at same time.

I have just received the IV bill for both of my parents, but the AOS fee is still in progres .. it takes forever!!
