YAY!!!!! My dad case has just been approved today but in e-mail :

Post-Decision Activity

On February 18, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

It really made me freaking out yesterday; the e-mail came at this morning with the approved day is yesterday. :dance::dance:

09/23/2009 - Sent I-130 For My Parents to Chicago Lockbox.

09/25/2009 - USCIS received I-130.

09/30/2009 - Received NOA1

02/01/2010 - Touch.

02/02/2010 - both my parents got Touch.

02/03/2010 - Touch.

02/16/2010 - email approved for Mom's case.

02/18/2010 - email approved for Dad's case.

02/20/2010 - hard copy NOA2 for Mom.

Completed with USCIS

NVC

02/25/2010 - got case's assigned NVC numbers for both parent.

03/02/2010 - received AOS and DS 3032 packet in email.

03/02/2010 - paid AOS fee and sent DS 3032 by email.

03/04/2010 - received accepted letter for DS 3032 in email.

03/05/2010 - received IV packet's fee letter in email.

03/05/2010 - paid IV packet's fee.

2/24/2010 - Rcvd. emails for DS-3032 and AOS Fee

2/24/2010 - Paid AOS Fee and sent electronic DS-3032

2/27/2010 - Sent DS-3032 & I-864 for Monday delivery

3/2/2001 - Electronic DS-3032 accepted

3/2/2010 - Paid IV Fee

3/9/2010 - Sent DS-230 package to NVC

Thanks everyone !!! I moved on :) USCIS, now start with NVC . I a little wonder how long from case complete to Interview day at Vietnam US Consulate. Tomorrow I will call NVC to get the assigned case # and register email for both of my parent. ^^ Can't wait to do the NVC process.

Finally my journey for immigration visa is ended today, My parents got Visa. I must appreciate all Vjers helps to short my process and help me to make visa process really easy.

Thanks all.

Here is some description:

Embassy : Mumbai, India

Visa Date: 02/22/2010

Visa Time: 7.30 AM

Appointment said 7.30 but they announced name at 10.30 They just asked question related to me and my wife and that's all, just exactly 7 mins and my dad said they were out, around 10.45. it was smooth interview. And we can get passport by courier but my dad/mom didnt wait and got passport on the same day around 4.30 from VFS (they started issuing passport at 4.30 PM)

Good luck to all who is waiting process to done.

Finally my journey for immigration visa is ended today, My parents got Visa. I must appreciate all Vjers helps to short my process and help me to make visa process really easy.

Thanks all.

Here is some description:

Embassy : Mumbai, India

Visa Date: 02/22/2010

Visa Time: 7.30 AM

Appointment said 7.30 but they announced name at 10.30 They just asked question related to me and my wife and that's all, just exactly 7 mins and my dad said they were out, around 10.45. it was smooth interview. And we can get passport by courier but my dad/mom didnt wait and got passport on the same day around 4.30 from VFS (they started issuing passport at 4.30 PM)

10/22/09: IV Fee BILL Status Changed to PAID

10/23/09: Mailed DS-230 Documents Set to NVC

10/26/09: DS-230 Received by NVC signed by J.DESMOND

Hi all,

I have a question both my parents have now been approved and I paid the AOS $70 for mom last week and now i have the the bill for my father. Do i need to pay it or I thought some where here I read that I only pay it once for bith parents? Can someone please help with this and tell me if I don't have to pay a second time, how do i do it to link both cases together.

Sent I130 for parents: 9/25/09

Recieved NOA1 : 10/01/09

Recieved NOA2 : 01/29/10 text for mom's case

you have to pay AOS just one and if you login with another case it will show you paid with related case. IV bill ($400) you have to pay seperate. Once you received email about it after submitting AOS packet.
