Received the DS 3032 packet today via email... Yey!

They still haven't e-mailed me so I called today to make sure they have the correct e-mail address and they do. They also told me that it could take anywhere from 2-4 weeks before I get the DS 3032.

Quick question: am I supposed to get an email/letter from NVC saying that my I-864 has been accepted?

I checked the case status by phone and it said that there's some info. missing and that a letter was sent on the 23rd.

Then I thought "oh #######. RFE"

So I spoke to a human at NVC and she said that my I-864 is fine. What they need is the visa fee and the DS-230..

I was just wondering if anyone got a notification for the I-864?

No you will not get a email letting you know about I-864 accepted. Once DS3032 is accepted you will get an email for IV Fee Bill and then you can pay your IV Fee. Once the IV Fee status changes to "PAID" then you can print your Document Cover Sheet and you can send DS230 package with all the documents.

CONGRATULATIONS ChinaBabe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a day or two the AVR message changes to Case Complete and within few days you should expect to receive Interview Email letting you know the appointment details for the interview.

You really need 'next step' ?

login failed- is a 'sign' of 'case complete' at NVC. You might receive a notice about it, you might not - it all depends. You can verify status by calling the NVC hotline, Get a Human, and verify.

I'll reserve any further comments though - I've already given the complete run down in a reply to you. Can you find it?

I got interview date for my parents but today I received email from my dad that in India they hire consultant for rest of the process and he asked for I864A and citizen certi and passport copy of my wife as well, I am the main sponsor for my parents and my income is well enough to sponsor both,

Do I need this I864A? Because in interview letter they haven't mention anything and NVC cleared everything from here.

I am little bit confused.

Ya - it's been such a pointed problem , that NVC decided to actually put up a general notice about it:

For all Appointment Posts (except, the Consulate General in Guangzhou, China) the NVC will send an appointment letter to all interested parties (applicant, petitioner, and agent/attorney of record, if applicable) notifying them of the date, time, and location of the interview; and forward the petition to the appropriate embassy/consulate. The Consulate General in Guangzhou, China will send appointment letters for cases assigned to it.
