i am so sorry to hear that.

did they say why?

what are you going to do next?

My parents did not get the VISA - I am not sure of the reason but that day they mentioned many people did not get their visas so very unfortunate experience.....

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

Hello to everyone,

I've been reading this forum for a month now and I just decided to register. I'm patiently waiting for my 10 yrs. old daughter's petition to get approve and looking for others who are in the same situation as me, so I stumbled into this website. How do I add my I-130 progress list like eveyone have on the bottom of everyone's post? I sent her petition on October 09 at Chicago Lockbox, received an NOA on 10-21-09, the service center is in California.

You can call them after a week from the I-130 approval date. You can call them daily until you get your case # and then you can register your emails with them and the communication will be through email and is faster.

Hi Darnell,

i called NVC this morning, and explained the situation.they said i can just maill in the form now, they will file it with the rest of the doc.

i sent express mail at lunch time the ugly forms(filled in will Chinese address in Chinese) to NVC, will be there tomorrow by noon. hope everything will be ok.

so once NVC send everything to GUZ, my parents should get P4 in mail, am i right?

Yup !! don't forget that 'dead zone time' for waiting, ah?

At some point, GUZ will open the casefile, then within a week, the p4 will be sent out.

I am trying to print barcoded AOS cover sheet on the NVC payment website but I have problem pulling the document (PDF) through correctly. Any advice?

don't 'open it in the browser' - instead -

SAVE THE FILE TO DISK first -

then open the file outside of the browser (I'm a fan o windows explorer - windowsKey-E on da keyboard)

find the file -double click it.

If winders get confused, maybe time to revisit your PDF reader program.

You can give one email but it is advised to give one email for each parent. You can create one and you can access it and let them know once you get an email to the new email. Hope this helps. Good Luck! Thanks, Raj

Nope, nothing for me yet. They received my i-130 on the 20th October. I did notice though that when I log in to the USCIS page that it now says 'initial review' instead of 'acceptance' - although I can't tell you how long ago it changed to that so maybe that doesn't mean anything. I haven't had any touches or anything.

I think that based on the recent approvals we've seen from the September filers - we should be seeing our approvals in the next 3 weeks ish? (Fingers crossed)

I just returned from my vacation in the Philippines. I printed DS 3032 (without a barcode) from the USCIS website had my mom signed it and took it home with me here in the US. My question is............... Can I paste the barcode from the DS 3032 form that NVC will send me? Thanks!

Yes you can paste it as i did the same for my parents. Once you receive emails from NVC about DS3032 and AOS fee, first send the DS3032 via email and you can use the below template and then you can snail mail the one you got from your parents. I did the same.
