if i understand it right, there is nothing i can do at this point but wait, right?

so my next step should be getting the interview letter via email, and make a madical exam appointment with that letter, and go the the interview, is that right? did i miss something?

do i need to fill out any form for p4 or send anything to anywhere?

another question, when my parents go to the madical exam, do they have result back or the hospital send it to GUZ us embassy?

The interview letter should not come via email, as you DID NOT DO NVC Electronic Processing.

The appointment letter should be MAILED to your parents.

The medical packet will not be 'for an appointment' - GUZ does not make medical appointments - your parents can CHOOSE which medical facility to go to, and depending on the medical facility - they either simply walk in, or they make the appointment directly with the medical facility (GUZ is not involved in medical appointments ).

The medical exam results will be available either on same day or within a few days, depending on which facility your parents go to.

They will be given a sealed packet, which must be presented on interview day at the GUZ IV unit.

Remind them not to open the packet from the medical facility.

as for waiting - wei - you can check the DOS HOTLINE (Get a Human ) and inquire for case status.

whilst yer waiting, you can also check the GUZ IV link I gave you, review all of the documents there (I hope by now you've done that ).

1. NVC 1 (603) 334-0700 - get into the AVR system, check case status every day until you hear 'case complete' . Note - the AVR system isn't as reliable as your bank's AVR, so if it's been 2 weeks since you submitted the last thing, get a human on the NVC Hotline.

2. as for DOS Hotline Number - hey - click on my name, look at my profile, the number is there under 'my story'. The Department of State Hotline will tell you status of your casefile once it's left NVC, from the point that it's left, all the way through to the last bit , of 'interview results'. You'll need to Get A Human™ each time, though, when you call.

3. P4 abbreviation for 'Packet 4' - is a packet from GUZ, contains the appointment letter, medical forms , etc. see http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/fo...and_packets.htm , look at IV Appointment Packet (“Packet 4”) at the bottom of that page for the P4 contents. 'P4 sent' is a status that you can 'retrieve' from the DOS Hotline, also. If you were managing your timeline here on VJ, you'd see 'P4 Sent' as a timetick. Maybe this is good time, for the weekend, to enter your timeline on the VJ Timeline tracking system - I highly recommend you do this - so that other IR-5 cases for GUZ, coming behind you, can have some idea of the waiting times.

11/09/09 - Received my mom's DS3032 & ASO bill via email

11/10/09 - Paid ASO bill $70

11/12/09 - Received my dad's DS3032 & returned Completed DS3032 forms (By email)

Sorry to hear the news but do you know the reason for not issuing visa.

My parents did not get the VISA - I am not sure of the reason but that day they mentioned many people did not get their visas so very unfortunate experience.....

You can call them after a week from the I-130 approval date. You can call them daily until you get your case # and then you can register your emails with them and the communication will be through email and is faster.

Check your login daily (payment site) to see if it fails...once it is failed then in a day or two from login failed date your case will be completed. Once your case is completed then you will get your Interview Email letting you know the details.

Hi Darnell,

i called NVC this morning, and explained the situation.they said i can just maill in the form now, they will file it with the rest of the doc.

i sent express mail at lunch time the ugly forms(filled in will Chinese address in Chinese) to NVC, will be there tomorrow by noon. hope everything will be ok.

so once NVC send everything to GUZ, my parents should get P4 in mail, am i right?

Since the casefile is still at NVC, strongly suggest you call the NVC Hotline, get a human, and suss it out there, with NVC.
