I have a question about the email i am about to recieve. do they have information about the medical exam on that email too or not?

Also will they send my mother a letter to her address as well or will she only get an email?

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

In the Interview email you receive will not have any information about Medical Exam. Visit your embassy web site and look for Medicals and that should lists the doctors that are in US Embassy panel and you can schedule an appointment with them, usually they require interview letter to schedule an appointment. Since you are communicating with NVC through emails it will be through email only. You can print the attachment and you mail it to your parents or your parents can print the attachment and can take that to the Interview and also use it to schedule an appointment with doctor for medicals.

In India the name of doctors and their addresses are listed on the US Embassy site and i passed on the info to my parents and they did schedule appointment with the doctor by showing the Interview Letter.

Hi Swahby25.

We waited 16 weeks for our NOA-2. It is terribly frustrating but it eventually comes and then life becomes very very busy.

The best advice I can give is concentrate on getting everything else prepared for when your case reaches NVC to minimise any waiting there.

I checked immigration.com and also on this site on other threads and read that few of them are waiting for their I-130 approvals since Sept'09. Hope you will get approval soon...i know it is frustrating but good times are ahead......
