Original Document Requirements

The applicant and each family member who will accompany the applicant to the United States will need to submit original documents or certified copies of the documents listed in this section from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity).

Photocopy Requirements

In addition to sending the original documents or certified copies of the documents to the NVC, the applicant and each accompanying family member must submit a photocopy of the original documents or certified copies of the documents.

Translation Requirements

All documents not in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator that states that the:

Translation is accurate, and

Translator is competent to translate.

I have a question about the documents for ds230. I already got everything i think i needed together.

police certificate for my mom

mom birth certificate

copy of pasport

two pictures(they are like pasport pictures)

my birth certificate

now will i need to send a translation copy of each since they are all in french?

No, do not send them until you receive email from NVC.

NVC case number for my mom's case were assigned yesterday and I called in to register my e-mail addresses today. Should I send in the DS3032 by e-mail at this point?

Well still nothing from NVC about my ds-3032 form but i did talked to someone yesterday and she told me(after being so unnecessary rude) that as far as she can see, they got the mail... i guess that is somewhat comforting.

Good that you got atleast some info but it is usually taking around 3 weeks to get DS-3032 completed, with the holidays around it might take few days more but you should get your IV Fee BIll sometime next week. Good lUck! THanks, Raj

I HATE calling NVC! cuz some of them are sooo rude! it annoeys me!

I hope your DS-3032 get approved really soon i now how hard it is waiting on that i waited 24 days to be approved lol. I know its hard

What I did, I wrote my Mother's name and NVC case number lightly with the pencil. I hope that will help!

Chinababe that is a good tip from Raj456.

We also wrote the name and NVC Case number on all documents we mailed into the NVC.

with EXP 03 DEC 2009A with date range form dec 1 to dec 3. I found my parents' cases are on the way to VN. I think I found yours on the way to JUAREZ, Mexico as well. This is cool!

OMG I just can believe it I got my LOG IN FAIL guysss, I am so happy I had been so anxious today as you can see on my today posts, and I was about to leave home and give one last try and there it wassssss!!!!!!

congratulations!!! in 2 -3 days your case would be completed so now all of us are waiting for that email. i keep on signing-in to my email account and it's crazy hehehe..goodluck to all of us waiting!
