Based on the posts here few of them have taken appointments for medicals in advance without the interview letter. For us in order to get medicals done we have to show them the interview letter from NVC so waiting for the interview letter from NVC.

hi cathy congrats...by the way if ur parents get their visa january r they going 2 come ryt away? coz me i will wait till spring coz i dont like my dad to hav a hard time adjusting the weather...

Thanks! If they get their visa by january then yes. We have some sort of reunion with my other relatives here around February and that would be perfect to have them here by then. Btw, since it was just case complete, when would they have their medicals booked? Do i have to wait for the email notice??

There wasnt much notable about our interview experience except

1) it was much busier and crazier time of life for me then I expected, moving ones 60+ y. o. parent to a totally different country is a lot of coordinating to do, I am still not done...

2) interview was easy - officer asked my mom about me - where do I work, live and how I got my citizenship. I was sitting behind her, i donno if that helped.

3) the LAX immigration office was easy:

submit envelope to officer in booth #1 marked "New Immigrants"-> sit and wait to be called (5 min) -> get fingerprinted on a paper form -> go inside and get luggage -> come back, wait 10 more min to be called - > officer returned the passport and 1 page instruction about "wait for GC in the mail"

some other immigrants in front of us didn't have correct photos ( must be matte passport size on white background) so they stayed behind, I donno what happened to them. I suggest keep copies of stuff and photos handy.

After reading about medical insurance troubles at interview - I bought a tourist medical policy here http://www.***removed***.com/newimmigrant.jsp but there were no questions

I donno, may be officer saw policy ID among papers mom gave him. She is not sure.

I would say my presence was most useful in the airport (and of course at traveling/packing), although they had bilingual employees - they were paged through speakers to different booth numbers,

so I am sure she would pass it eventually even if i wasnt there.

Good news!! My parents case was complete as of yesterday as confirmed by the AVR & the lady operator!! Thanks God!!! The lady I talked to said that I have to wait till next week for the next set of interview appointments for January as December are full. And my parents & I will receive mail & email by the coming days as well for the interview notice..

Ok you sent it on the 13 i sent mine on the 8th and i just My DS-3032 just got approved today i think check today around 12am or tommorrow it will be approved!

Dont be worried cuz it first come first serve and also another user on this fourm sent theres on the 5th the got approved yesterday i sent mine on the 8th got approved today you sent your on the 13th will most likey be approved Tommorow.

dont worry you will get email about IV bill soon, as mine took 20 days to accept. I sent email and also print out of email + scanned copy of original from India to NVC. you will get it soon. Good luck

No DS-3032 has no cover sheet.

Interview appointments are scheduled in the first two weeks of each month for the following month and sometimes if the slots are open then they will schedule in the same month too based on what i read on this forum and also as per NVC operator.

So you should expect sometime this week or beginning of next week for next month interview date and i am hoping the same for my parents case.

There is no Document Cover Sheet for DS-3032 but there is bar code on the DS-3032 sent by NVC. Based on your signature, you sent DS-3032 via email and if have put NVC Case # in the email then you are good and you should expect to receive your IV Fee Bill Email soon. Based on others looks like it is taking around 20 - 25 days for DS-3032 to get accepted including thanksgiving holidays and you should expect it anytime now.

Dont worry it is on its way..i know it is easy said than done....But hope for the best...Once DS-3032 is entered into the system the IV Fee Bill is enabled on Payment site and in a day you will be receiving IV Fee Bill email and do not pay until you receive IV Fee Bill Email.

Yah i sent mine on the 8th and i got approved on the 1st And she sent hers on the 16th any day now it should be approved

i have a question, my IV bill shows paid online, do i need to wait for NVC to email me the ds230 with the barcode or should i just download the form and fill it out?
