No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

You dont get an email once the NVC case is completed but you do get an email when the interview date is set, so this is good and Congratulations on your interview.

Got an email it says CASE COMPLETED

An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S.

Embassy/Consulate in MANILA on January 8, 2010 at 08:30 am.

Is it really like that? the completion email and interview schedule are in the same notice?

Dont worry i sent my DS-3032 by Email and Mail and im still waitting Tree who send theres on the 5th just got approved yesterday. i sent mine on the 8th and its first come first serve so they got approved i should be soon i hope this comming week then your not far! :)

for the IV bill and application. is there an exception with this process where you can send the application before making the payment(that is when the bill is generated of course). cause i was told i could by someone on here, how true is that?

I want to make sure my AOS got accepted before i pay the IV bill.

can someone please explain how that work?

05/26/11 Received NOA 2 in the mail.

06/10/11 Sent DS3032 email and paid AOS fee. Received auto response 15 seconds later.

06/14/11 AOS Showed Paid. Sent AOS Package.

06/16/11 NVC Received and accepted DS3032. AOS Package was delivered to NVC.

06/17/11 Paid IV fee.

06/22/11 IV Showed Paid.

06/23/11 Sent DS-230 via Express Mail.

06/24/11 DS 230 was delivered by USPS.

06/28/11 AOS was accepted per AVR.

06/30/11 Received AOS check list. Missing DS-230. (It was sent 06/23/11)

thanks cathy and Raj....do i need to wait for a medical appointment? or i can just scan the copy of noa1,noa2 and completion letter and email it to my dad..and he can go anytime for his medical?

I don't think you'll receive a medical appointment. The email notice serves as his appointment. Email those letters to your dad and bring it with him when he go to St.Luke's. Aside from that, he needs to bring his passport and 2x2 photo. The current fee is $213.35 for adult. I posted info of St.Luke's here, forgot what page it was of this topic..Goodluck!!

sana nga :) tried to log-in yesterday and failed so it's a good sign! like everybody else here who had "Log-in Failed", the case would be complete in a day or two. yeah, i'm looking forward to a January interview for my parents, crossing my fingers for that. Who knows, they might have the same date of interview.. :)

You can show them the Inteview Letter and get the Medicals done. NVC will not send any email in regards to Medicals....Interivew email will work.

I was told by NVC operator that NVC will schedule interview and sends the packet to the local Embassy hope this helps....
