Not sure how accurate it is but the Visa Journey Timelines 'Approximate Processing Dates' for the I-130 (at NOA 1 stage)is currently stated as 17th April 2009 for CSC.

It may be nothing but it does offer a little encouragement for those who received NOA 1 in early April 2009.

08/29/09 - APPROVED!!!

09/14/09 - NVC case # assigned, emails registered

09/17/09 - email AOS bill received and paid online, ds3032 received and returned

09/21/09 - AOS bill status "PAID", FedExed out AOS, 09/24/09 delivered to NVC

09/28/09 - AVR:AOS acknowledged

10/02/09 - 3032 was acknol. by NVC, paid IV Bill online

10/05/09 - emails: 1 pm -RFE for 3032, 3 pm - IV bill, 5 pm - status PAID

10/09/09 - ds230 delivered to NVC at 9am

10/14/09 - AVR: Checklist response was received

10/20/09 - login failed! - between 5 pm and 9 pm PST, at 5 pm it was still working

10/21/09 - case complete! (AVR updated after 10 pm) = total NVC 37 days

Hey I had a question for you... I know! I keep asking but we really need to know my dad's A#.

So you said that your mom's A# was on the documentation she gave to the officer, right?? Which documentation?? Was it on her visa or in that misterious brown envelope???

I was just told by a VJ member that my dad's A# is located on his visa (upper right section) under "Registration Number"

Could you PLEASE PLEASE check your mom's visa and see if the A# that you made a note of is the same number on her visa under "Registration Number"??? Please??? :unsure:

We already called USCIS but they were no help.

The brown envelope had a piece of white typed paper stapled t it on there it had the A# and yes the A# is on the visa. Both were the same.

Mum's GC is still in the mail I think!

Um... When I checked the processing times for CSC today, this is what I got:

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative -

U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 -

November 15, 2003

How is that possibly accurate ? SIX YEARS for waiting for an immediate relative for USC ?!

Anyone else seeing this?

Just letting you all know that my dad received his welcome notice and green card in the mail today ( exactly 3 weeks after his arrival in the U.S ). We will be applying for his SS card next Monday because we never got it in the mail even though we checked that option on form DS-230. Also thanks Gemma12nel for answering my questions!!!
